Simba Steffi Love - Hawaii Camper, Multicolor

Love it. Fun for Barbie Time w/granddaughter. VW bus/camper much loved by my generation & today’s little girls. So, cute. Fully equipped.

The thing that I like best about the Steffi Love line of dolls is that they're wholesome. They look like Barbie on the surface. But they aren't. They're the same size, but that's it. This camper set comes with a Steffi doll, her camper van, two dogs, and accessories. It's not glammed up, and it certainly doesn't have it's own swimming pool like the Barbie camper does. It's much more like a real camper that an average person will own. I don't like that Barbie seems to promote getting rich and blowing money on mansions and glammed up campers.This camper arrives in a window box, and it looks small. It's not. It folds out, making it so much bigger when playing in it. There is plenty of room for two or three dolls to travel in it. It's got a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen, living area, and the place you can sun on. The camper itself is fully assembled. Some of the accessories need put together, for example, you have to put the legs on the table, but it's pretty much ready for play as soon as you open it.All of the accessories are highly detailed and very durable.I highly recommend this camper toy!

My five-year-old loves this adorable VW camper van. Comes with a Steffi doll (also fits Barbies), two cute dogs, and TONS (seriously, tons!) of accessories and decals to stick on the side of the van.Many of the accessories are quite small — plates, cups, silverware, fake food, etc. — and could present a choking hazard for kids under 3, so just be careful when younger siblings try to join in and play with this set.The only downsides are that the plastic used for the camper and the interior furniture is a bit flimsy, and Steffi/Barbie can't actually fit in the front seat unless you put her diagonal or sideways. My sister and I had a Barbie camper with this same issue when we were growing up, and it never really bothered us, so YMMV.Regarding the flimsy plastic, if your kid is the more fastidious, careful type, this set will be fine for them. But if they're fairly clumsy, bordering on a walking tornado, this is probably not the best set for them — look for something sturdier.Overall this is a super cute set that will provide hours of fun and imaginative play.

So, first I want to address what seems to be the main complaint in the more negative reviews, which is that this is not durable enough for a toddler. I think that's fair. Our daughter is 6 years old and, relative to her age, she's pretty careful with her toys. For her, this is perfect. There are lots of cool little details (e.g., the shower-head in the shower, the stickers she could add to the camper, the little table and and chairs, etc.) and it's just really neatly designed. She loves putting her toys in there and having them go on make-believe camping adventures.But, yes... for a toddler, this would be a disaster. It's not built for rough play.My daughter told me it's "definitely 5 stars" and I can tell you, we've had it for six months now and it's still something she plays with all the time. Great for imaginative play!

My daughter was upset because the broke straight from packaging. We super glued it but still very unhappy about it. It seems a bit cheap and flimsy feeling. My daughter was excited to review this though. She was excited to show her friends.It does come with some accessories such as a grill, mini picnic table, silverware, dog bowls, plates, etc.Everything comes neatly tucked inside.Found it to be okay product.M

The media could not be loaded. The thing I liked most about the Hawaii Camper is that it was fully assembled; so no tears waiting to put it together. They include a sheet of decals for you to apply and ~50 little accessories (aka small plastic pieces). I am not giving many of the accessories to my little one as they are too small for her age. The camper is a little like a model in that it has fragile details that will probably be broken off over time - parts like: steering wheel, wipers, side mirrors, etc.. All of the moving parts operate well and things open/close as they should so the general quality is good.I give it 5-stars and recommend it - as long as you are okay when your little one rips the mirrors off.

I cannot wait to share this with my granddaughter. I saw it and had to have it for her. It is just too cute!She is going to love it.I am saving it for just the right time to create a special memory with her. Like a road trip in my full-sized RV.
