Summer’s part in his past was his only beacon of light in his life, and he was convinced that he didn’t deserve her love anymore. How could he allow her to love him when he was dead inside and incapable of loving her back? Oh how I love her spunk and sass. This book brings you on a wonderfully tragic yet exhilarating roller-coaster ride that you wont wont to get off of. It has everything you wont from a hot sexy bad boy who is well aware of his effect on women, and who happens to be member of the rough and tough Deadly Pistols MC. A young naive women, Summer "Summertime", just coming of age working in her Uncles bar, while trying to help her sick mom. Joker comes to her rescue one night, saving her from the grips of a cocky drunken frat boy trying to add another notch on his belt. She is captivated by him almost instantly. Joker is a total ALPHA male and knows he's no good for Summer. He leaves her with just a parting kiss, but what a kiss it was. Three years later she is still dreaming about and feeling this kiss. So is he. They have a chance meeting again when her uncles bar is closing and that kiss is still on both there minds. One thing leads to another and there magnetic attraction brings them together in a steamy whirlwind of passion that makes it more than just a fling. The characters are strong and entire story flows well. Even when Joker or Summer acted irrational is was easy to understand why they did and I could even see myself act the same way if I were faced with the trials they have. You are never left saying "WHAT?!" or "THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, WHY WOULD THEY ACT THAT WAY?" Everything was plausible, even Summer lashing out in pain, which made it easy to read. GREAT READ!! I would definitely read this again.

I've really enjoyed reading this new genre combining big gorgeous Alpha males on motorcycles falling for gutsy females who charm their smelly boots off! But this series is quite different. Our couple meets and an unexpected romance blooms, then POW! The bottom drops out of their world. No spoilers here, but suddenly all of their dreams just go up in smoke, and we're left dealing with two broken hearts and "real" life in spades. Jackson/Joker still loves Summer - or "Summertime" as he so affectionately calls her, but he believes that his life on the road is too dangerous for a sweet gentle girl like her. (And don't you just love it when a male decides that you're so delicate, you couldn't possibly survive in his world?) <GRRRR> Anyway, circumstances bring them together again, and right about here is when putting the Kindle down for the night and getting some sleep becomes a real problem. You're getting over three hundred pages here, but half of it is another book entirely, a surprise gift from the author and another great story to boot. I suggest you follow the table of contents to the end of this first piece, making note of where it stops, so you won't have to lose a night's sleep like I did. Besides, it's a great story, fast paced and full of surprises, not to mention it's filled with characters you won't forget - and even better, the survivors come back in the following books! And there are a lot of them! Here's hoping that you try this first book. I bought my own copy, because it's still only 99¢! Can't beat that.Jgtimm

Love how the club members interact and look out for each other. Must have been awful losing his twin, glad he got to kill Pieces murderer. Nice they are finally a family.

Eu já li vários livros de Nicole, acompanhei toda a série Outlaw/Prairies Devils e Grizzlies. Este é meu primeiro Deadly Pistols. Eu gostei bastante de Never Have an Outlaw's Baby. Os heróis de Nicole são, em geral muito parecidos: machos alfa, um pouco arrogantes e violentos. As heroínas são inocentes e corajosas. As histórias também se desenvolvem de modo parecido, com "aquele grande momento de perigo que ameaça a vida da heroína".Verdade seja dita, tem tudo isso neste livro. Porém de alguma forma, Nicole introduziu um toque de frescor e originalidade em Never Have ...: o desenvolvimento da história é um pouquinho diferente, o ritmo é menos acelerado no início da história, os personagens são mais bem elaborados.Joker, o herói é uma mistura bem balanceada de biker alfa, corajoso, com um toque de doçura. É um personagem que parece uma pessoa real, por mais inacreditável que isso possa parecer, com contradições e dúvidas de qualquer ser humano. Dentre todos os heróis de Nicole, talvez Joker seja o mais bem acabado. Summer, a heroína, é uma garota que passou por vários problemas e suas decisões e reações também parecem realistas ao leitor.Os personagens secundários trazem colorido e interesse à trama. Gostei muito do vovô: simpático e gente boa.Na avaliação geral, posso acrescentar que não há nada neste livro que eu não tenha gostado. É um romance do tipo biker, com violência moderada e algumas cenas sensuais. Não é literatura sofisticada, apenas diversão garantida para quem procura uma leitura sem muito drama.

Loved this story, it had everything I'm looking for in a mc book, I'm not ashamed to say I did break down a time or two, tears tell me how invested i was with this story, we quickly get submerged into the story, and really FEEL for both the main characters I would have happily read on and on I didn't want it to end, kudos to the author really happy I found this book 💚

Enjoyed the strong characters and the exciting story line. Opened up a whole new world for me. I will enjoy reading about MC life.
