I love this thing...fits very well, nice and sturdy and looks great. The only downside so far is overtime, the filter will eventually needs replacing and not sure I remember if you can buy replacements. Other than that, it's a nice cup for tea...

I ordered the Sweese Teacup with the infuser and lid to replace my current infuser. The set came well wrapped and protected in the box. The porcelain cup and lid had no hairline or spider cracking and is the 15 oz. is perfect size for my tea. The stainless steel infuser fits perfectly in the cup and has adequate room to allow the tea leaves to expand which results in a more flavorful cup of tea. The extra fine strainer allowed the water to steep through to the tea leaves and when I drained it, all the tea leaves stayed in the strainer. It is easy to use and cleaning it was a breeze....just needed to tip the used tea leaves into my compost, gave it a quick wash and it was ready to go! (It is also dishwasher safe). The lid was also handy to hold the infuser. Although I have only used the infuser in the cup I got it with, it also fits in many of the other mugs I have and because it is reusable, I will be able to use it for decades! I consider myself a tea enthusiast. I prefer to buy loose tea leaves instead of tea bags packaged with preservatives. For all the reasons, I highly recommend this set!

This is the 4th time ordering this mug. Loved the color. Great size about 15 oz. Keeps my tea warmer longer. The only problem I have is the lid is easily breakable, and I could not find a replacement for it.

I originally ordered this mug because it popped up on recommended as I was searching for an infuser. I figured it would be a good idea as most of the infusers I was finding were in a similar price range. I've only used the cup a few times so far but here's what I've noticed.Pros:-Keeps coffee/tea warm for a decently long period of time even without the lid.-I'm easily distracted so I walk away from my desk a lot to do things, whenever I'm getting up I'll use the lid to help keep it warm a bit longer.-Infuser works well, the first time I tried it I put it in after the water (I'm not sure why, that was user error for sure because of course everything will float to the top) of course it is better to pour the boiling water through the infuser into the empty cup to get the best results.-Came packaged well, everything was bubble wrapped and within a box that would be easy to gift wrap without having to transfer packaging.The only two cons I've noticed so far (neither of which would prevent me from buying this cup again):I have an electric kettle that gets really hot when boiling water, the cup gets hotter a lot faster than most of my other cups but that does not effect the handle. I made the mistake of grabbing the cup by putting my hand through the handle instead of grabbing the handle itself and it was uncomfortably hot. Again, could be user error on my part but something to consider if you have kids around that might try to handle the cup by the center. I do not have a warmer for mugs but I'm sure that would also make the outside of the cup hotter as well.-The lid sits on top of the cup fine but the inner lip of the lid (if that makes sense) is smaller than the top part of the cup so it can easily slide off to the side if it isn't put on carefully which will let out all the steam. I think making that ring a bit larger will not only help to keep the heat in the cup but also allow the lid to be placed a bit easier (I'm always in a hurry okay, don't judge me.)Overall I have no complaints about the cup, the price point is great for what you get and the color is lovely. I keep it on my desk on a coaster and it keeps my drinks hot for a while, if it starts to cool I just top it off from the kettle and continue drinking my tea. I hate drinking water but I love drinking tea, I can sit and sip on tea all day long and this mug is for sure my new favorite. I will most likely be ordering more in the future.

Bought it as a gift for my mother. She loves it, uses it daily. She loves that the strainer is large, so it is easy to fill and clean, and sits low enough in the cup to submerge the loose tea when water is poured in. And also loves that the strainer fits in the cup lid when removed so there is a place to put it while she drinks her tea.

So much better than a teabag! Deep basket for a good tea brew. Pretty, sturdy tea mug.
