IT WORKS!!!
If you know anything at all about house cats, you know theyโre full of tenacity, and audacity. Once your indoor cat gets a taste of the outdoors, itโs just about impawsible to keep them from wanting to be outside all the time! Thatโs what happened with my cat The Baroness Meowtilda Von Softiepaws (street name: Tilly). Tilly slipped out the back door when I opened it to let my smelly little dogs out. Of course I freaked out thinking sheโd run away and Iโd never see her again. But Tilly stayed in the back yard and came inside after a few minutes. I vowed to never let her out again. But 1) sheโs a cat with quintessential cat-like reflexes and is better than I am on her worst day, when Iโm on my best day. 2) The audacity I mentioned earlier is STRONG in her 3) she DOES NOT like to be picked up/held, or confined in any way, and I value the use of my hands. Sheโs never been aggressive with me, but I prefer not to make too many waves. So keeping her from slipping outside from time to time was not a job for which I am well equipped. Over time I got more comfortable with it since Tilly always stayed close to the house, and was always in the house over night. She has never been injured on her excursions. Then, we had a big problem. Remember the smelly little dogs? Well they suddenly became smelly AND itchy! And thatโs when I saw it. The dreaded flea infestation. The dogs are treated for fleas and ticks, so that meant the harbinger of the plague was feline, in species. Now imagine gentle reader, if Tilly is not the type of cat to allow cuddling, what are the chances sheโs the type of cat to allow herself to be bathed with flea soap? Nil. The answer is, nil. Several essential oils sprays, and flea combing sessions later- I had finally eradicated the infestation. Unfortunately Tilly developed some harsh looking ulcers on her skin which the vet advised was due to an allergy related to the flea bites. I felt awful, but I got her ulcers treated and cleared up quickly (thankfully, because they were shocking to look at and I doubt they were comfortable). My vet recommended the Soresto Flea and Tick Collar for several reasons. She said 1) it works, 2) itโs made for cats and dogs, 3) it lasts for up 8 l months. She did say โitโs one of the pricier optionsโฆโ but she swore by its effectiveness, and said it was worth it the price. Of course this had my anxiety riddled brain thinking these collars cost enough to make me have to decide between purchasing one, or paying my mortgage. Turns out the collars are about $68, and since theyโre supposed to last 8 months, that breaks down to about $8.50/month, or ~.28/ day! So I bought one and decided to give it a try. If it didnโt work, Iโd know for the future and I would try something else. Well, guess what? IT WORKS! There is no chemical scent to it, itโs made of a flexible rubber type material, and itโs adjustable. I thought Iโd have to fight with Tilly to get the collar on her (she prefers to go au naturale), but since the collar is adjustable with a lot of extra length, it was really easy to slip it on her neck and then pull it to tighten it. It helps to have a lickable treat at the ready to occupy your cat, if theyโre resistant to being collared. The collar even comes with little plastic reflectors you can attach which is great if your cat goes out in the evenings at all. Tilly scratched at her neck and the collar for the first day or so, but then she accepted it, and now I donโt think she even notices it. I havenโt had a single flea or tick on ANY of my Fuzz Butts since using this collar, and we are going on 3 years. If I had one request, it would be for whoever is in charge to make this an item you can set up as a subscription, and automatically get a new collar every 8 months. I know I forgot to replaces Tillyโs collar for about 10 months (and it still worked!), and I donโt want to take the chance of forgetting again. For now I have a reminder on my phone, along with the reminder to change my air filter and to test my smoke alarms. But it would be much easier if I could get a new one automatically. Other than that- 10/10 recommend and your fuzz butts and sanity will love you for it!

Buy if you hate fleas
I have used this product for over 6 years with no issues. It does what it says, keeps fleas and ticks away and extremely easy to put on. The price is a little high you may think, but seeing as this lasts 8 months, itโs worth the money. I had a serious flea issue in my neighborhood but after my dogs and cats got this, we had zero fleas inside our home. It gives off no scent and you forget they have it on at times because it doesnโt have the stick or greasy feel like other flea collars do.

Bar none the best!
My cat was immune to ALL flea drops! From the most expensive down! He was miserable and still had fleas. As a last resort I ordered this collar even tho it was so expensive. Hallelujah! It worked! Took maybe 3 days but it worked! All his hair is growing back from him chewing on himself and all the (TMI) scabby areas are gone Yea, itโs spendy but supposed to work for 7-8 months so it is comparable to drops in price. I and Seamus (the cat) are forever in your debt. Thank you Seresto!

Please read!!!
If I could give these 0 stars I would. 5 stars to the company and their response time and efforts that's it. I had no issues at first, and these damned things DID seem to be working. Thank God because I was feeling pretty poopy and bad for them, for the situation. If you're here you already know. Anyway after a few days I noticed two of my cats seemed annoyed but I thought nothing of it, they don't wear collars and are strictly inside only cats. Have never gotten out, so I figured it was just new and annoying on their neck. No and stupid me for not looking further. I tightened them that night, still finger loose as specified. The next evening I noticed my cats neck was just raw tattered flesh, hair gone. Seriously the most horrific moment ever. My husband and I took them all off immediately, and I cried for a week. I waited to write this because I seriously was gutted I felt absolutely awful. That started a string of absolutely the worst time ever. Her neck needed to heal. She's a cat they scratch. Yeah. So covering it was a nightmare. She would rip it off some how and I would wake up to her raw scratched neck putting is back at square 0 finally after a week or better we were making progress. It's been a month now and she's still got some scabbing, but her hair has started growing. So, if you made it here to this part thanks for hunkering down and reading this. Look at the 1 star reviews and pictures. If you choose to try these, PLEEASSEEE keep an eye on your babies. They said it happens, and I get it. Like humans you don't know what you're allergic to until sometimes you have a "oh no" moment. Still though. Anyway, great product if your cat doesn't have a reaction.

Good flea collar- but doesn't last 8mos.
I really loved this product. My cats were really sensitive to the drops so I was glad to find this product. It worked well and didnt bother them. But I have noticed that it doesn't work for 8 months anymore. I had to replace 2 months early-. (I put the reminder on my calendar.) My poor kitty has fleas. My daughter noticed the same with her dog's collar.

Way better than the drops
Worked within 24 hours. Literally pulled dead fleas off my cat. Super easy to put on my cat. Looks like a normal collar. Doesn't stink or anything! Way cheaper and easier to use then the monthly drops.

Flee gone!
I had a crazy flee situation for a few weeks and my poor cat needed a bath everyday, only to find more the next day :( I tried everything with tropical cream and stuff, nothing worked. this one is the best. This collar was effective within 24 hours, all flees were gone, even if I see 1 post 24 hours, they were almost in the stage of dying or super inactive. No more baths , and I'm super happy with this product.

5 Cats & Flea Issue Practically Solved
I've never been a fan of flea collars, but I was desperate to get a summer flea flare back under control for me and my 5 cats's sanity. Easy to set up and size on my pets, all of whom are no longer acting like maniacs. The collars are non greasy and my cats don't act like the collars bother them in the slightest. The collars aren't smelly. Haven't seen any skin irritation or bad reaction from my little colony. Also haven't seen them vomit or act poorly either since administering them. They're back to their happy, relaxed selves. I feel safe using these on my cats. It's months later and I do not regret this purchase! (Side note: I wash their bedding weekly, spray their cat trees, periodically do flea baths, comb, and also administer oral medication as typical routine care, but these collars finally got me "over the hump" in this uphill battle.)

Incorrect advertising
Does not ward off ticks only a flea collar, not even sure if itโs genuine
