Review: There is a lot of room for improvement in health care systems around the world. The framework of thinking and the myriad of use cases provided in this short book are extremely useful in equipping students in healthcare fields to be more critical of existing systems. The lens offered in this book is valuable for everyone in healthcare and I believe at least portions of the text should be required curricula in medical school, nursing school, medical administration school etc. If we want to improve our healthcare system for patients and providers we need to equip our students to think like designers. Review: Great hands-on book on design thinking methods and application in healthcare processes

I'm already familiar with most of the design processes detailed in the first section. The added aspect of the medical environment considerations and punctuations of examples made it interesting. The gold, for me, is the second section that looks at actual examples, both conceptual and production. The use cases and implied benefits to the end users (often resulting in budget saving and improving the outcome for multiple connected users) makes it a fascinating read.
