JUST BUY A REAL SHELF!!!!
As some other reviews have said these are VERY flimsy and hard to assemble even WITH instruction. The main thing is just foldable plastic with the same durability of a school folder with the "shelf door" pieces being very hard to attach. Speaking of attach, god help anyone who wants these as more than a singular unit because you will have the absolute WORST TIME trying to get the flimsy pieces to pop in just right to then slid into a inconvenient direction to click secure. AND THEY CAN BARELY HOLD WHAT THEY ARE MEANT FOR. I had to organize my shoes from heaviest to lightest, bottom to top. They can't support anything placed on top of the shelf either with that being said. If your life is a rom-com and you want an emotional moment where you spouse comes to help you through this nightmare and you fall in love all over again going to hell and back to assemble this, buy it. But if you want a good sturdy shelf WORTH almost 40-50 bucks, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I COULD NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. I am only working with mine because by the time I found this all out it was months after purchasing.

Better if it had instructions!
The amount of time it took to figure this out without watching the video under the comment section was sad. If it wasn't for the young lady that posted the video I would have sent the boxes back. If they had put instructions in the box it would've been an easy 5 star. I gave it a four because I will order again now that I know how to assemble.

NOT WORTH ALMOST 50 DOLLARS.
These are EXTREMELY flimsy. They're literally just cheap plastic that you fold together and then stick the harder plastic door onto. If you plan to use these for kids -- pass; they'll break instantly. As an adult, they work fine for my needs and are very cute (hence why I'm keeping them). TWO of my box doors came broken and were unusable. It's okay for me because I planned to use a few in my closet anyway, but you should take that into consideration. There were no instructions, but I figured out how to assemble them fairly quickly. I was able to stack them, but could not get them to join on the sides. I'm not sure why. Again, not a deal breaker for me. I know these are about $5 per box. They are DEFINITELY not worth that. Maybe $2 a box. Still, like I said, they work as intended for adults, so I'll be keeping them. I'm still a little mad about my two doors being broken, though.

Not sturdy
This shoe boxes are cute but very flimsy. They don’t hit wedges or high tops.

Not Too Difficult to Assemble Each Box
Once you get the hang of it and figure out the tricks, it is not too difficult to assemble each box. I recommend starting off by folding all the creases so the box has shape and stops collapsing. On one end of the box, you will see squares for punching out. Punch out all of the squares to make the holes to insert the round tabs. Layer the square holes. Then, make sure you insert all four (not just two) of the round tabs into the layered square hole. On the other end of the box, fold the three thin, rectangular tabs so that they all lean more toward the inside of the box. Then, slide the lid on top. Make sure you match the tabs to the correct sides of the lid. Try snapping one side of the lid on first then work your way around. The lid should snap on after a few tries.

Don't waste the time or money - Very hard to put together!
If you are into origami then this is for you! I purchase at the first of the year and started to put them together. Got very frustrated and gave up. Recently made another attempt and these are not worth the time or money. Very flimsy and doors do not shut properly.
