Khanka Hard Drive Case for SanDisk Extreme Pro NVMe V2/Extreme Pro Portable SSD 1TB/2TB/4TB.(case only)

This is a hard travel case for a SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD. I have the 1TB model and it is a very good fit. There is sufficient padding and there is plenty of room for the rather short lead supplied by SanDisk and the much longer one that I brought to replace it. It has a decent hard shell for protection and manages to avoid the potential weak points along the line of the zip. I have not exhaustively tested it with the drive in place but my opinion is that it would provide adequate protection for most moderate impacts. Accidents do happen even with the best of care, so this will be a useful extra protection for my drive.I like the colours and the elasticated band that holds the drive in place. I am not a big fan of lanyards but each to their own. The one on this case is big enough, strong enough and very firmly anchored to the case. There is very little not to like but in my view I think it is a pound or two more expensive than I would ideally like. Its cost is about 8.5% of the price I paid for the disk so I suppose it is reasonable enough if it saves the drive from damage.This will go in a laptop bag with my drive that I use to carry my music on. It will make travelling that bit safer and be proof against all those knocks and bumps in the boot of the car or while unpacking my bag. It is a pretty good case and it is good value for its price. It is to some extent built to a price but it is none the worse for that and will do its main job very well.

I have a portable 1T M2 SSD which needs a suitable case for protection and to hold accessories when travelling. The Khanka hard disk case is perfectly designed for the task. It is light and strong. Each half is separated from the other by a padded middle section. One side has a retaining elasticated strap for the drive and the other has a webbed section to put cables in. This means that the drive is protected from damage by rubbing against the cable inside the case and from external damage by the hard outer shell.The case is finished with a bright orange zip making it easy to see in a bag. It is a suitable size and strong enough to protect an M2 SSD in an enclosure. In my view it is a worthwhile investment to protect a valuable item.

This Hardcase from Khanka designed specifically for the SanDisk Extreme Pro protects your SSD Drive from everyday damage and knocks. This case is well built and feels like a mini tank, the outer case is made of a hard plastic shell and is very sturdy. The inside of the case is well cushioned there is a cushioned divider that separates your drive and accessories, there is also an internal pocket for extra storage. This case is compact, sturdy and well designed, this will fit most M.2 SSD, USB sticks and other external Drives in the same category. The case in point here is SSDs generally are more robust and don’t have moving parts like Mechanical HDDs and are less likely to fail when dropped, but the case like this just gives you peace of mind for your expensive investment.

This case is made specifically for the considerably smaller SanDisk Extreme Pro Solid State Drive, and won't fit the larger type of standard external hard drives.The drive fits nicely inside, and there is a protective inner cover that prevents items stored on the other side of the case from coming into contact with the drive, and causing scratches etc. The other side of the case is used for storage, and features an elasticated retainer net for holding your power/data transfer lead.The case is nicely made, good quality, and with a strong zip. It will definitely protect your expensive SanDisk drive from most impacts, or during transport.However, I have bought a number of external hard drive cases recently (larger size), and these are equally well made, with almost identical interiors. I paid just over half the price of this case, so I can't help thinking it is a little overpriced. Having said that, if you want a case tailor made for your SanDisk Extreme Pro, this fits the bill nicely.

The case looks quite distinctive and easily identifiable with the orange zip going around the hard case. There is a hand strap attached to the case should you want to use this or place on a hook for retrieval later. Opening the storage hard case reveals one side to place the SanDisk Extreme Pro with a band to hold this in place and the other side a pocket to keep the connector lead to plug into the PC/ or other device to transfer data. The case has a good outer case robust hard shell whilst the inside is padded to protect the drive. If investing in the SanDisk Extreme Pro this is a worthwhile addition for storage and additional protection if required.

If you've got one of those external SSD drives, this case is excellent quality for keeping it protected. Like most of this type, the outer shell is nice and hard, but unlike a lot, it actually allowed enough space inside for both the drive and its cable to fit comfortable, with an extra padded flat between them to stop the cable being pressed directly up against the drive (others can sometimes be missing the padded flap, and in the interests of achieving the narrowest possible profile, end up being too tight inside for both things to fit properly, even if a pocket is provided for the cable).The only thing I'd change about it is the unnecessary wrist strap that sticks out of one corner. It's quite long, and just flaps about getting in the way. I'll probably cut it off.

This is a perfect fit for my new SANDISK Pro 1TB drive.it takes the drive and cable very easily and although the drive is probably robust enough not to need it, I prefer to be doubly safe.Well made and a reasonable price.
