Red Lightweight Fiberglass Large Rectangular Planter Box - 48 inches - Outdoor Planter - 48L x 14W x 12H

This is one beautiful planter box! I have always gone with the corten steel ones that develop rust on the surface with time, but I had more than enough of those and wanted something different. This planter is perfect. It's modern and sleek.It is relatively lightweight for its size (I got the 48" long one), especially compared to the steel ones I have. I was able to pick it up and put it on my rear deck myself. I was going to go with a gray one at first but I'm glad that I took a chance and went with the red - it is bold and goes well with my table's red umbrella.There was only one very small chip in the paint on one of the corners but it was barely noticeable. Other than that, the paint finish is flawless. There are a bunch of holes on the bottom for drainage.Five stars for this planter. Too bad they are a bit expensive or I would get more of them.

This is a very large, durable, and attractive planter. I have placed it in a patio garden and its bright red exterior adds a delightful pop of color to the area. It arrived "no assembly required" and with the all important drainage holes pre-drilled Despite its size, it is not at all heavy (until filled with soil). Though it hasn't yet been through a northeastern winter season, I am anticipating it will hold up well to 5 months of snow, ice, sleet and freezing temperatures.A word of caution: this container does require a lot of soil to fill it. This is in no way a drawback, but I thought it was worth mentioning because not every potential buyer may consider this before purchasing.The planter came *very* well packaged for shipping and arrived with no scratches, dings or other flaws.Overall I am very pleased and rate this product with 5* (I Love It).
