Made lotion with this. The texture of the shea butter was just right.

Wish I took a picture 1st before reviewing. I purchased one 1lb bag and one 2 lb bag for a total 3 lbs for my recipe. I noticed that the 1lb bag was way more potent and very dark yellow compared to the 2lb bag. The 2lb bag was less strong in scent and less yellow. Both was unrefined but one more stronger than the other. My recipe was a bit altered due to this , I'll stick with the 2lb bag vs the 1lb if I order again.

To me if you want great results then you have to get the best quality products out there so before I buy I always search for:Organic,none GMO,100% natural. This is how I search then obviously reviews and so on and finally my opinion which is;this Shea butter it’s great,smells better,it’s feel heavenly and I WILL KEEP ON BUYING IT.

This shea butter works well if you intend to melt it into something. If you are going to use it straight from the bag, it will be too hard and chunky.Update: I have melted the shea butter along with some almond oil and essential oils for a facial cream and it is very smooth and feels great! The extra work was worth it.
