I think it is easy to use. It has 9 buttons.

It’s definitely hard to see where you are pointing while outdoors.

I used it and confirmed that it is accurate.

How do i set the "laser measure, lytool laser measurement tool (165ft/50m,m/in/ft), laser distance meter" to display "inches and feet, e.g. 12-3/16"?

The tool does not display in architectural dimensions (i.e., 12'-3", or 12' 3-1/8"). It only displays in 10ths of a foot (1.10'), or inches (22.6"), or metric. You will have to convert (i.e. 0.6'... multiply .6' x 12"= 7.92' which is roughly 8 inches). You'll have to look online for calc to convert to fractions.
