Love our “air chair”!
Buy this chair! My whole family loves it. Relaxing and holds people of many sizes. We hung it from a tree limb, which worked much better than buying a stand. We have had it for a year and would strongly recommend!

My therapy chair
Love this chair. Relaxing enough to fall asleep innit b has a lumbar lower back support built in. I’ve purchased 3 or 4 over the years. I keep one hanging at all the cool places. Bring it in over the winter for longest life but it will last a long time

very good quality, better than the cheaper competition and worth the extra money.
rarely these days does a higher cost mean higher quality. In this one case, it seems to be true. I bought two of these chairs, in search of a particular color. The first one I bought was a Sunnydaze brand on Amazon. Then I found this burgundy chair which is closer to the color I really wanted. I decided I would keep the cheaper chair anyway since it was green and my house is green. Hang it on the back porch. However, the quality of the Sunnydaze is TERRIBLE. Spend the money, the quality of the Hammaka is SO MUCH NICER. Really! It is 100% more expensive but you will be pleased to know that the stitching is correct, the reinforcement threads are not falling out, the quality of the canvas is much nicer. VERY tight ropes, to the point where it took two of us several tries to get the poles inserted. We were about to give up completely and return this chair as well (which hangs inside the house, in my office) but finally, with bruised fingertips, we finally forced the poles into the straps. Tight is good, but this was crazy tight, that is why four stars not five. We should have gotten to the point of printing out the return slip and 20 bruised fingertips. Now if they would make this in PURPLE.

The Best of Both Worlds - Is It Possible to Have Your Cake and Eat It Too?
The most comfortable outdoor lounging chair, AND amazing customer service! My parents bought one of these chairs many years ago at a home show, so when I saw this one on Amazon a couple months ago, I remembered how much I loved theirs, and knew I needed to get one of my own. However, once I received it, I realized that this chair was not as I had remembered when I was a kid.... it was a hundred times more comfortable! I hung it on my front porch and fell asleep in it multiple times in the first two weeks that I had it. It was the perfect place to lounge on my breaks during long stints of yard work, to sit and have a beer and watch the neighbors walk by (and enviously gaze at my super-awesome hammock chair), or to lounge and enjoy a good book or a smutty Hollywood gossip magazine. The chair is durable, well made, and extremely comfortable. You can see the quality craftsmanship in the product, and can tell that the company cares about their product and is committed to providing a quality product. So obviously, I was pretty disappointed the day one of the knots came loose and the chair was rendered "un-loungeable." The knots are pretty intricate, and even after my best effort, I just couldn't figure out how to retie it. It had just passed the 30 day return window on Amazon when I finally got around to trying to exchange it, so I figured I would try to see if the Hammaka website had a guide on how to tie the knots. As soon as I logged onto the Hammaka site, a "chat now" box appeared, and so I figured I'd see if the chat representative could direct me to some helpful instructional knot tying links. I quickly explained the situation in the chat box, and literally, within minutes, the customer service rep, Amber, had apologized very sincerely for the inconvenience, and promised to get the situation resolved. Within hours, Amber had sent me a UPS tracking number for the replacement. It is so refreshing to receive such quick, responsive and excellent customer service these days. I am thrilled with this chair and equally (if not more) thrilled with the exceptional way in which this situation was handled.I can't wait to get the replacement in the mail so I can kick up my feet and continue enjoying this hammock chair! Thinking about getting a couple more as housewarming gifts for friends who have recently purchased new homes - would be the perfect gift!

Wife loves this
When the weather is nice, my wife loves to sit in this and listen to music to unwind after work. It’s held up fine in the weather and it’s hard to ask for more.

Good for Kids
Pros: Sturdy, quality canvas with practical drain hole in the seat. Plump head pillow with velcro. Nice color (green).Cons: seat is way too short, cuts into mid-thigh (I'm 5'4"!). Stiff side of chair cuts into upper arms. Footrest straps are too short.Overall good quality but design/sizing for adults needs to be improved.

This is the Skychair you want.
So you saw Skychairs at a Renaissance Festival or County Fair or something and thought "Oh, I can find that cheaper on Amazon." Well this is it. You should have supported the vendor at the Fair but here we are. These are easy to set up and aside from the main knot, only need a bit of adjusting to suit your needs- whether you like recline more or less. Very simple to adjust. These do not have holes to feed ropes through or cause extra wear on the ropes. These have the little nylon baskets to receive the ends of the dowels. That is the superior design. These are durable but not indestructible. 17 years hanging under the porch and the canvas and nylon finally succumbed to UV damage and failed. You can certainly extend the life by NOT leaving them out all year, but still. Seventeen years. Not bad.
