First ever purchase of a car "dryer". Wondered if a battery-operated or pluggable unit was best. Settled on corded device since battery-operated items requiring lengthy use tend to disappoint when it comes to performance and battery life. This unit is well-constructed and delivers as promised. Single speed high speed air flow drys wheels instantly and removes water from those "hard-to-dry" spaces like light and mirror housings. Very happy with this purchase.

Took quite some time to blow my whole SUV and needed earplugs for the loud, high pitched noises

I used this product literally 1 time. I was extremely careful and didn’t even unravel the cord to maintain its “newness”. When I went to use it the second time it wouldn’t turn on. That was it. Only had it for a few weeks. Never dropped, never rough with it. Had a lot of power when I used it but doesn’t do me any good now. Scared to buy another so I will try another brand. Typically Chemical Guys is top tier. A little disappointed.

Works very well, handle does get a little warm.
