Question 1

What is the difference between his bone broth protein, collagen, and Dr. Collagen? I don't know which one is right for me.

Accepted Answer

This is actually one of our most common questions...it's a great one!Dr. Axe strongly believes that BOTH Bone Broth protein and collagen are important supplements for daily use, and he personally integrates both into his diet. But if you are on a budget and can only choose one, we definitely think that Bone Broth Collagen is the best option for most! Here's why:Dr. Collagen Protein powder makes use of cow hide and bones to provide an excellent source of proline, glycine, and glutamine, in addition to supplying the body with collagen types 1 and 3-- particularly aiding in skin, hair, bone and heart health. It also contains collagen types 5, 10, and a small amount of type 2. These types of collagen are sourced from chicken, fish, and egg. Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth Protein powder is formulated with chicken bones. It's slow-simmered in our kitchen, so you don't have to mess-up yours! :slightly_smiling_face: It is also an excellent source of proline, glycine, and glutamine...but that's not all! Bone Broth Protein contains concentrated collagen type 2, which is targeted for gut and joint health, immunity, and the body's healthy inflammatory response. Bone broth also has glucosamine as well as hyaluronic acid (for joint support and healthy pH levels) and important electrolytes and minerals: potassium, calcium, magnesium and selenium. And now, for Dr. Axe's personal favorite: Ancient Nutrition's Bone Broth Collagen. This formula contains all the nutritional benefits of everyone's favorite bone broth protein, enhanced with roasted turkey, chicken, and beef bones for a more concentrated source of type 2 collagen, along with types 1 and 3. This unique supplement harnesses multidimensional benefits (digestion, skin & beauty, immunity, joint & bone health). It is recommended for those seeking "all around health." For those on a budget, Bone Broth Collagen can be used alone but can also be used in combination with Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth Protein or Axe Nutrition Whey Pro powders.
