Quality meal. As good as business class on an airline, maybe even better. Expensive, but when you want a delicious meal in 2 or 3 minutes with making a mess, it is a Winner Winer Chicken Dinner!

This is a delicious and filling dinner. We pour this dish over hot organic white rice to complete the meal. The chicken is super tender and falls right off the bone. The farfel is very tasty. The only item that's a tad bland is the potato kugel. For me, that's great because I can't have spicy food. If you have GERD, these meals are perfect. They have a nice taste but aren't spicy or contain ingredients that would cause heartburn. These are super easy to prepare. We set our microwave at 50% power, then heat them up for 3 minutes. They turn out perfectly. We did have a couple blow out a hole in the plastic seal on the side, but it was small so there wasn't a huge mess to clean up--just a bit of sauce. Although the containers are small, there's a lot of food in them and again, it is very filling and delicious. The BIGGEST plus for us is that they are Glatt Kosher. My son is very strict with Kosher laws and will not eat any beef or chicken that is not Glatt Kosher. So he hasn't been able to eat any meat for months because in Hawaii, there's no Glatt Kosher meat available. Hebrew National hot dogs are available, and quite delicious, but they are not Glatt Kosher because their hechsher is the Triangle K, which is considered a less reliable hechsher by many who strictly observe Kosher laws like my son.

This and all of the other MRE meals are {too Hard] to get open trying to get the plastic cover off makes a big greasy mess.. and if any one has limited use of their hands I DO NOT recommend

I like the other dinners, this one had sides that weren’t anything I remember, the chicken was good.

I have been eating this particular dish all of my life both made from scratch at home and in restaurants. This was pure mush, tasteless and almost no chicken. The only resemblance to the way it should have been was the picture on the box.

The bone in chicken meal is great. I am 90 and cooking is sometimes a pain. This is really tasty, filling and so easy..

It was ok, the chicken seemed way overcooked and under seasoned for my taste, but then I’m in South Louisiana.

Bone in chicken with farfel and kugel tastes just like it was made fresh today. Heats easily in microwave. Filling portion. I would buy again.
