A great product I would buy again (and may buy more as gifts!)
I was looking for a hip bag large enough to hold my phone and a couple other essentials but small enough to wear around the house when I have an outfit with no pockets. This fits the bill perfectly! I can use it low on my hip or carry it like a purse/crossbody bag. It fits a large phone, my fat-with-half-used-gift-cards wallet, chapstick, tissues, and a teeny tiny tupperware of wet wipes. The zippers are sturdy and easy to zip, and the stitching looks like good quality. I've been using it for several months now and get compliments on it all the time. The strap is easy to adjust and comfortable. I like that the bag has eyelets to protect the leather where the strap clasps, and that the clasps on the belt have a swivel so you don't have to unstrap the bag if you notice the strap is twisted after you put it on.

Quality product that does its job (looks nice, too)
What I Use It For:Semi-daily carry. Keeps my hands freer without burdening my shoulders.Pros: It does it's job and looks nice doing it. Secure, durable, and mostly comfortable.Cons: Some rare strange looks, especially with the leg strap. Since it's not a belt, it does take a few wears to get used to the strap around the waist riding up sometimes, etc.A Few Highlights:1. My fiance hates the leg strap aesthetic (and I recognize that it looks a bit odd) but the bag works great even without the leg strap.2. It's not going to carry anything and everything, but it's great if you just want to hold, for instance:· a (small/flat)wallet· a pocket notebook (e.g. Field Notes)· a (small) battery pack/cable· a phone· keys· a pen or twoI fit all of these things in there together. Packing it in isn't great for ease of access, but I don't necessarily need to get to all of it all at once.3. It's more secure than just a pocket and holds more than that too. I have had a problem with things falling out of my pockets without my notice and being lost forever. Not anymore with this pouch. Saving myself from replacement costs was worth the price alone.4. I wear it around my waist, but it could also be worn as a shoulder bag. I think the latter method would be more secure (especially under a jacket) if you're worried about pickpockets. A nice passport bag if that’s what you’re looking for.5. The craftsmanship seems quality. I haven't had issues with the zippers or button and (as of yet after about a month’s use) no loose threads on the seams.Final assessment: Very happy with this purchase. It’s a bit priceier than I wanted to go initially, but after using the product for a while, I think it was worth it in the end.

I tried but didn’t work for me
Five stars for the bag itself, but unfortunately I can not use it.There really is no way for this to stay put no matter what I tried. The bag slides down my leg no matter what I do, or what strap I tighten. The straps are too loose so they don’t tighten completely around my waist. The thigh one I can get pretty tight, but it still slides just with my phone in it.I even got smaller belts thinking that would work, but it did not. I even tried to put the waist belt through my belt loops, but it still didn’t prevent the thigh belt ti slide down.It is very well made, it is pleasing to the eye, it’s not bulky and I love the design, it’s just not usable for me. I wish it was.The leather is awesome, the zippers are great, hardware is very sturdy, but since the bag slides down, then pulls the waist belt which then constructs my gait, I almost fell up the stairs because I couldn’t lift my leg due to the sliding straps.I’m happy people can use this, but as a functional item, for me , it fails short.I used a thigh holster for work, I know how to wear one, I love them. Their comfort and ease of access to get the things you need at an arms length. Plus it’s attached to you so someone can’t grab it and run away with it, unless they drag you with it.I wanted something small to carry necessary items and I hate purses, my wallet is so thick it can hardly fit in my back pockets (women’s pants suck for functioning pockets lol) .If you are able to secure the leg strap where it doesn’t slide down then this is a great product.I’m 5’4” 100lbs for reference. The leather itself is amazing and I would buy from this company again for that reason. The quality is really nice.

Decent Waist Strap Pouch, Small Pockets
In terms of value for the money, this one is definitely a surprise 5. I am impressed with the quality of the materials and stitching. It is very classy looking and has gotten compliments when I'm out and about. So it definitely lives up to its photo! My only complaints: the pockets are internally tapered and a bit of a tight fit for many common objects. It's not easy to get a smart phone in there because of the tight fit and rigidity of the zipper openings. You can only fit a small credit card wallet in there with ease; definitely not going to fit a full-size billfold. The zippers are hefty, which is a double edged sword--they will likely hold up for years, but they also have such a "bite" i have scratched my hand on the zipper when taking items out of the main pocket!BUT, I am generally happy with the purse for certain uses. I use holsters like this because I can no longer physically carry a purse (shoulder problems). This sturdy leather one is now the one I use for going out to dinner when i want a nicer looking purse. I use a lighter weight canvas "festival pouch" for more daily use tasks when i need to carry larger items and/or a full-size wallet.
