Q: Can worms be added or is it not recommended? And i dont want an answer that says "I dont know, we dont use it like that" thank you

I have added worms to mine and have had no problems.

Q: Can this stay outside in a cold New England winter?

I really don’t know we live in Ohio and haven’t went through winter yet with ours. It is sturdy plastic that holds up nicely so far but extreme colds year after year is anyone’s guess.

Q: Description says one dimension is 6"; that's not possible. the other dimensions are 33.5 l and 24.5 inches w. what is the height?

The 33.5 is the height and the 24.5 is the width and I don’t know what the 6 inch is unless it the door opening where you shovel it out

Q: How do you turn the contents if there is no bottom in the composter?

Two ways ...you can turn it as u fill it up with a pitchfork or fill it up then life it up and move it to the side since it doesn't have a bottom and refill it from the pile. It takes some work so it's not as convenient as a tumbler style. But it does hold more. I have two. I bought mine for yard waste to use in my gardens as it breaks down.
