Firm, Flavorful, Not Overly Salty
I primarily use anchovies to create fullness of flavor (umami) in puttanesca sauce and salads. These are wonderful. First, they are nice size fillets which hold their shape when you start working with them. They don't fall apart when you rinse off the salt. Second, they actually have a nice fish flavor, just right to enhance the flavor of the other ingredients in my dishes. Somehow this is salty without overpowering the flavor, as other brands seem to do. This is now my go-to brand of anchovies.

Good flavor and perfect amount for my Caesar salad recipe
The flavor and texture were very good and it was the perfect amount for my Caesar salad dressing recipe...a win-win...I hate wasting food. Came quickly and well packed, I will buy again.

Spoiled
I love anchovies, especially on pizza. I've just recently opened 2 cans of these and both were spoiled. Smelled rotten. I've never smelled anchovies like these. Too late to return.I'll buy the grocery store brand next time.

Salty Mush
I had hopes, after experimenting with several brands of anchovies, that this would prove a good purchase and a decent value, given the overall good reviews. Not. They are massively salted (I understand anchovies are packed in salt for preservation, but still-- some restraint would be great, especially when you are eating these rather than using them for a sauce). Worse yet, the ones I opened were very mushy. Ick. Maybe a bad batch? At this point, I am stuck with 3 more cans. They will be relegated to my pasta sauces and other such uses. No returns. Caveat Emptor!

The perfect snack!
I have ordered and re-ordered this product. I thoroughly appreciate the fact that they are not oversalted. They are in olive oil (which is a plus in my book), and I have used the oil with EVOO in salads. They, of course, compliment the Mediterranean-style salads to perfection. Some reviewer mentioned the bones. I have found many bones -- no two tins are created equal by the way -- but those tiny things are fully edible. I'm not sure what kind of bones the other person who said they got stuck in his/her throat found but I can hardly believe an anchovy fillet would have that. For a whole anchovy, I would, of course, remove the spine but for fillets? I have not seen anything that could be a hazard. In fact, I'm not quite sure how you would remove them, even if you wanted to; they are uber small and would probably require you to use a magnifying glass and tweezers. Or maybe the best bet would be to get anchovy paste? But back to the product, I am 100% satisfied with this brand and plan to reorder more soon. I know someone talked about the expiry date; I go through two tins a week by myself so I am not really worried about a 12-month shelf life :) But the company sells packs of four so that might be your best bet for freshness if you don't eat them as enough as I do.

I got what I expected. Great Product.
Makes a great Caesar Salad Dressing. One can went into the food processor (Including the oil from the second can) > and the other can, got chopped up 1/4" to 1/2' slices and went into the dressing after the dressing got liquefied.

Some cans are mush
Flavor is fine but some cans are just mush, as others have noted. I like to lay anchovies out in strips on pizza, but often have to just smear the can contents on the pizza.

Great People to Buy From!
Edit: previously this review gave 2 stars because the can I received itself was dented, but I got a full refund so I can definitely vouch for the company!!!! The overall quality of the product itself is good however, I would recommend frying it a little bit or wiping off the olive oil.
