This is an EXCELLENT little mirror!! This will be my third over 10 years. I travel a lot and am hard on them. I've dropped mine a few too many times, or forgotten it on a window of a hotel room. It is tough, holding up well to abuse and very bright. Suction cup is the best on the market, never found better, as long as your surface is smooth and clean.

This is a very good mirror, though it is a lot smaller than I would've liked. That said, it gets the job done. The actual mirror is 5". To get an idead if that works for you or not, take a compass and draw a 5" circle on a piece of paper and decide if that's big enough for you. Also, keep in mind that you have to be real close for an undistorted image. It is a very clear, nice, sharp image and you will see things you didn't know before existed. If you are someone who travels, this is a perfect, travel size, magnification mirror. The suction cup is very strong and the lightweight mirror stays in place. The light is a great, bright, diffused light that really helps you see yourself. I also like how it lights up my whole bathroom if the light is off. This will really come in handy if the electricity goes out; and the button on the face is so easy to turn off and on. Overall, I'm very happy with it. If you want or need a little bit bigger mirror, go for it. But if a 5", magnified, travel mirror is what you're looking for, this is perfect.

Does everything I need it to do - provides magnification and light without requiring permanent attachment to a wall. Perfect for a small bathroom, is large enough to do the job and small enough to not block much of the existing mirror, stays up without trouble, is not terrible expensive, and uses batteries that can be found anywhere. So far the only draw backs are that the LED light is not especially bright and 10x magnification is rather extreme - one has to be close - like 3" or 4" away - for it to have proper focus. My bathroom has good light and my medicine cabinet has mirrored doors that swing towards a person and will hold position so, for me. these aren't deal breakers. Other buyers should consider these drawbacks.Update - May 6, 2017 - It wasn't long before the light quit working. As mentioned above, the unit I bought was never very bright. It's not a battery problem. The light started flickering, then it was as light as normal for a while, and now it's so dark there's no point in using the light at all. In a completely pitch black room I can sort of see the light on, and It does still flicker now and then. The mirror is still worth having and I continue to use it but if I were relying on the light I'd be quite dissatisfied.

Love it! The mirror and mounting bracket are far nicer than I expected. The design and manufacturing are first-rate; the product has simple, clean lines and a perfect finish. The ball joint is smooth and secure, and the suction cup has a spring that helps to keep it mounted. The mirror is easy to rotate in all directions and it stays in place in any orientation. The LED lights are bright enough to illuminate my face, but not glaring. The mirror glass has no apparent imperfections and the 10X magnification provides a clear, perfect image. I used it this weekend when I needed to re-attach a temporary crown that came off my molar! It's very light weight, but a bit bulky for travel (not my intended use, so I don't care).I had been looking at similar wall-mounted mirrors that were over $200 and required in-wall wiring or a cord with plug-in. This mirror is so much better in so many ways. I am so pleased with it that I intend to give them as gifts.

Well, this is not my first (or second or third) rodeo. I've bought a magnifying mirror of this approximate size every few years. The instructions for mounting this mirror, although in retrospect, probably should have seemed more obvious to me, said what I think will make the difference and leave this thing mounted for many years. Take it down every month and remount it. I'm always careful to clear well before mounting, I would moisten the suction cup. But what I've never done is take it down deliberated to remount it. So, yeah ~ going to do that this time! The light is very bright. It seems to have a great suction and is well mounted ~ for now. Time has taught me that's probably not going to last. I'd recommend that we all take the mounting advise and remount every month ~ unless we're keen to replace it. But I'm not.

This is our 2nd time buying this mirror. Our first one fell and broke after a couple years. My husband and I both found it very useful as our aging eyes make close-up grooming more difficult. The magnification in this 2nd mirror is way greater, making it necessary to get quite close to the mirror. We preferred the first one.

Absolutely love this mirror you could see any detail of your eyes face and skin with this mirror I love it so much it's made extremely well too very adorable

This is a great medium price make up mirror. It attaches & detaches easily from a large mirror. .I had one previously and left it in a hotel room by mistake. I really missed it for checking my make up as it is also lighted. I also use it for putting in one of my earrings. I had to make do without it for a few days. I really missed it!
