High-quality matcha powder with a very rich taste!
My friend recommended I try this matcha powder brand, and I definitely love it! I love having a matcha latte on a cold day, and this matcha powder is just perfect! It's very rich in matcha taste and delicious. You can drink it as a hot tea or mix it with your favorite type of milk to make it a matcha latte without losing a full-body matcha taste. The powder is no sugar added, so it has a slight bitterness. If you want sweetness in your drink, you need to add syrup or honey. I also used the powder to make desserts such as matcha cake and matcha pudding. Overall, it's a high-quality matcha powder with a rich and vibrant taste, unlike other brands in the supermarket I've tried.

pretty good culinary grade
Though pictures show this made as a cup of tea, I think it's a bit on the earthy and bitter side for plain tea. However, it is potent enough and good enough for lattes or other applications where the flavor is dispersed/moderated by other flavors. It has a slightly sweet smell, but is less grassy than ceremonial grade matcha. The powdered dissolved fine when I used a cup blender to mix it in with cold plant milk. It's not gritty and doesn't impart any sort of texture problems. It's pretty good value for the quality of matcha.

Pale and light matcha aroma and taste
It so happened that I bought another brand of Matcha (but it is ceremonial) so I can compare the grade difference (I bought other culinary/premium mix type of matcha before) and this specific one appears to be pale green in color and the taste is not distinctively matcha (like my other culinary matchas) - and I did NOT try to put more than 1 teaspoon to see if it intensify.

lovely zip of non jittery energy
Japanese style matcha powder from Thailand. It is as good as most all other brands I have tried. I have been drinking matcha for many years, so I go through a lot. I always used more than double the usual amount. I add it to smoothies, or make cold or hot lattes. Since matcha itself does not taste good to me, I always use cream or non dairy milk, some sort of sweetener, and/or other flavors to help mask the taste. I have tried matcha at all price points, and I really dont notice a huge difference between them (save for maybe 1-2, where they really stood out in excellence). I am pleased with this, no issues. Slightly grassy, mild bitterness. But works well in everything I have used it in, and most importantly it gives me that lovely zip of non jittery energy that keeps me coming back for more.

Good quality matcha
There's a multiple sealed clear bags inside. I opened and made some drinks with them and they're of good quality. the matcha has beautiful green color and has good aroma as well. This is a great quality matcha.

Good matcha powder
This is a good-quality, culinary-grade matcha powder. Certified organic and natural. It is a very fine powder in a very nice green color. The flavor is earthly but slightly bitter. It smells nice and fresh. It blends just as well as the other matcha powder that I have. I used it to make matcha latte and it tastes good. It should work well in baking as well. This comes in a sturdy resealable bag. Mine has a best before date of about 7 months from now. Product of Thailand. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this organic matcha powder. It tastes good in matcha latte. The price is pretty decent for a 4 oz. bag of good-quality, organic matcha. Good stuff.

Ok for smoothies and lattes
Mixing a teaspoon of this powder with six ounces of water gives me an olive drab brew with a medium level of bitterness, and a lot of fast precipitation. There isn't really any of the nori scent one gets with ceremonial grade matcha, and not a strong green tea scent/flavor either. There is vegetal flavor, but it's not really fresh and grassy. This isn't the best matcha I've ever had, but if I hadn't known it was from Thailand I would have guessed it was from Japan. It would probably be better mixed in smoothies or lattes than straight.Low 4 stars.
