Could these be used (& reused) to absorb bacon grease like paper towels?

I use mine to wipe up bacon grease splattered on stove. I wash with soapy water after. Not sure if you can reuse after wiping a pan.

All reviews say a different size: what size are these really?

These are 7" x 7.5". Love these. What I do, is if they start to sour, like all stuff, I spray with cleaner with bleach let sit a bit, then squirt dawn on them and ring them out, and they are fresh. Or I put them in the washer with kitchen towels. Very happy with them.

do these be composted when you"re done using them?

Yes they can be composted , it will take a while

What are the dimensions of the cloths not the package?

8” x 7”. They are great cloths. Shrink very little— maybe 1/2 inch. Washed many times and hold up well. They were the answer to my dishcloth dilemma. Dry quickly and are absorbent. Love them
