Well designed product that really allows for a more elegant permanent solution to mounting LED lights.This is perfect for mounting LED strips under or in cabinets. I'm using to mount under cabinets for floor and counter-top lighting. Also used to replace an older light above the sink.They arrived with no burrs on the cut ends.Cutting them down to different lengths is easy enough but you will need a hacksaw, dremel, or similar. The plastic diffuser can be cut with scissors.This product has plastic clips, that the aluminum channel then snaps into. You screw the clips to the surface first, then snap the channel in. I prefer this method as opposed to the ones that have screw holes in the channel and screw directly where mounted. Using the clips allow you to get the LED strips exactly in the channel before mounting. (It also allows for fine tuning your cuts which is particularly useful if using corner brackets). The clips are a little harder to align, but if you clip the channel into the clips first and then hold everything where you want to mount it you can easily mark how the clips should be placed.Definitely pay attention to sizes as this not only effects the mounting of the lights inside the channel, but how the diffused light looks overall.The minimum channel width should be greater than the width of your LED strip.The depth of the channel (from the bottom to the diffusing cover) determines how the light will "look"... a shallow channel will appear more spotted since the cover is closer to the LED's, and a deeper channel will appear more like a solid bar of light since the cover is further from the LED's.I would definitely recommend and buy again!

These channels worked great for a project we were doing outside on our covered deck. Painted them dark grey to match the grout in our back slash and then used silicone adhesive to hold them in place. The diffuser makes for a nice even light. I paired them with BTF-LIGHTING 16.4ft 5M 5050 RGBWW 4 in 1 RGB+Warm Whtie strip Mixed Color 60leds/m IP65 Waterproof, and a MIFI 2.4 GHZ 4 ZONE Remote and Contoller. Easy to install fit and finish was great.

This aluminum channel was a sturdy product. Installed in minutes. Easy to cut. .

Excellent product, well designed, well made and works exactly as described. The harsh dots from the LED were diffused perfectly creating a nice even light.

These aluminum channels are very solid. The diffusers feel sturdy and work well (no hot spots on my 60 LED/meter strip). Each strip was individually wrapped in plastic to keep them from scratching each other

I used these to house waterproof LED strips. (Those are regular LED strips that are inside a waterproof rubber tube.) Since the waterproof LED strips are thicker, they are very difficult to fit in most regular-sized aluminum channels. But these deeper channels made it a breeze to fit the waterproof strips within. Made the whole project easier and I'm very happy with the result.
