These bookends are not gonna move! They are gonna hold everything you need in place on your bookshelf without sliding. They are extremely heavy, so I wouldn't recommend you using them on a shelf that is thin.

My holiday book collection grows every year and it finally got big enough that spreading it out on coffee tables or leaning it against this or that wasn't enough. I needed very heavy, sturdy bookends that could keep all the books standing without being pushed aside when a book is removed and the remainder inevitably lean to one side, sometimes with surprising force. I also wanted something classy that would look nice with my holiday decor. These bookends checked all the boxes! They're not just heavy (over 2 kg or nearly 5 lb each), they have four grippy feet on the bottoms, and their shape means they have a low center of gravity, all elements that keep them where I put them, even when several books are removed from the collection at once. They also look very nice, low key but super posh. I might keep them out all year, instead of packing them away at the end of the winter holiday season. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

These are nice heavy book ends. Great quality. Not super vibrant green but still love the color. The gold line is on both sides. There are black foam feet on the bottoms so they don’t scratch. Would buy these again.

The first one we received was damaged unfortunately but amazon made the exchange process very easy. Once we did receive the new one it was so beautiful in person, very elegant,sturdy and the size was perfect for our tv stand! Definitely worth every penny

I use these in front of my cutting boards to keep them in place. I was trying to figure out what I could put there that would be heavy enough (but still look good) to keep the boards from falling/slipping. Just randomly thought of it and it has worked out perfectly! :) These are great looking and heavy duty. The only reason for one less star is because they look a little bit off (the 2 pieces don't match exactly side by side), but good enough. Still happy with them :)

I’ve purchased one set of their bookends, as well as their coasters, and they are reasonably priced and beautifully made. The bookends are heavy enough to hold large books, with nice little pads on the bottom to protect your furniture.
