We are taken through the final, and perhaps most dangerous, cruise of HMS Turbulent, a Trafalgar-class submarine of the Royal Navy. The mission she is tasked with is fraught with danger, compounded by the old boat’s age.Any student of submarine history will want to delve into this book, and so will any leader in business today who is looking for help in management styles.As an extra bonus, part of this cruise was filmed for British television and this is still readily available on YouTube. It is fascination to read the book, and then actually watch the people you’ve read about in action.
