Princess Naomi Helps a Unicorn: A Dance-It-Out Creative Movement Story for Young Movers (Dance-It-Out! Movement Stories to Spark Imagination and Foster Self-Expression) Review: Amazing book for kids - First off, the quality of the book is extra great. The book is extremely sturdy and is so sleek it’s almost shimmering. The quality of the pages and the prints are fantastic. The images pop off the page and are beautifully illustrated. (Shout out to the Ethan Roffler for creating the gorgeous imagery) Story wise, this book (And the entire “Once Upon a Dance Series”) are a great mixture of learning and fun. While the story of Naomi and the Unicorn progresses, “Ballerina Konora” displays various shapes and movements for children to try themselves, so they become immersed in the story. (All the while learning good moral lessons, expanding their knowledge of the world, and learning how their own bodies move.) It’s a great hybrid of childhood development all bundled into one. (And the plot is super fun! It’s a great journey seeing Naomi and the Unicorn travel on their adventure) I would absolutely recommend this book (And the entire series of them) Review: Fun, creative book for children to really participate in the story! - This is a charming book that my 5-yo granddaughter loves! It’s an activity as much as a time to sit and enjoy a good story. My granddaughter loves to do the dances and actions that go along with the story. Very immersive and so creative!

A Princess and a Unicorn what more does a four year old want?
This book was a delight for my 4 year old granddaughter and for me! This is a cute story and had great artwork. This book encouraged body movement for her as I read it to her. A win win!

A bit odd
Cute story. Cute images. A little odd with the author doing ballet poses on each page. If you have a ballerina she may love that. But the illustrations were very cute and her poses are a distraction from the story. We like the book but I'm not sure we liked the poses.

Interactive Fun in a Picture Book
I bought this book for my granddaughters, since they love unicorns and one is named Naomi, and they thoroughly enjoyed acting out this story! The dance movements included to go with the story make it interactive fun.

Great gift for young girls to get their minds thinking, imaginations going and bodies moving
I recently bought this book as a gift for an 11-year old girl, but it would be suitable for most young girls ages 3 - 11, so long as they like unicorns! She said she loved it and enjoyed doing the ballet moves shown throughout the book - which I didn't know about earlier, so that was a pleasant surprise! If you need a gift for a young girl in your life or just need another storybook to add to your daughter's bedtime rotation or even to just practice reading skills, this is a great book!

Excellent for helping kids embrace reading and movement
This continues to be a favorite. This unique concept gets little ones moving while also coming back to the page to see what happens next. I love how it works out their excess energy while also teaching them about creative movement and telling stories through physical actions and language. Goes beyond your usual story book.
