Just Love Summer Dresses Plus Size/Swimsuit Cover Up/Resort Wear

I liked the dress (navy blue cap sleeve), but found it to be too short to be flattering for my 5'11" height. If you are average height it would be great. I normally wear a size 14/16/XL and carry most of my weight in my bottom half, and a 1X fit had ample room through the hips and thighs. I thought the bust and armholes, which just fit me, might be too tight for anyone who is well-endowed or who carries their weight more evenly distributed, so you might order up a size if that's your situation.The fabric was nice and it was very comfortable; it would have been a great light cover-up. A great value for the price. I appreciated Amazon's free return policy, so you might consider buying two sizes and trying them both on to get your best fit.

I really like the look and feel of this cover up/dress. I purchased the sleeveless black and green one. It's pretty sheer and I'll probably only wear it over a swim suit. It drapes nicely and is flattering. I wear a size 18 and ordered 1X which fits fine. I'm 5'2" and it hits me lower to upper calf. It's not scratchy as some synthetics are, and doesn't look wrinkly. When I hand washed it in cold water, the water was black, even after several rinses. Although it hasn't faded , I'd be careful about washing it with anything else or wearing it with a light color and getting it wet, as it might bleed. I hung it to dry, so no noticeable shrinkage occurred and no ironing needed.

These dresses are wonderful to wear after having surgery. They are loose,comfortable and light. BUT---they are very poorly made!!!! The hem on one of them that I received looks like a shredded rag. There are threads everywhere. They shrink when washed in cold water and must be washed by hand or they will fall apart. Many of the seams are open and unfinished. If you want them for anything other than sitting around, while you recover, I advise you to look elsewhere!!

I purchased this cover up for a cruise we are going on. I ordered a 2x thinking it would be plenty big enough. It is way too small in the arms & shoulders. My college aged daughter is a size 10. It fit her very well. I would send it back but I my daughter liked it so much that she is going to keep it. I went ahead and gave it 4 stars because it is a cute cover up. These dresses are very light weight, perfect for summer and adaptable for cooler weather by adding a cardigan. They are pretty, flattering, comfortable and versatile. They fit true to size and you'll find yourself wanting to grab them frequently at times when you need to get out the door fast and still look good. That said, they are also very low priced. The stitching isn't meant to last - it will pull out like a hem with one snag. I like them so much that I secured my stitching better and I feel like I got a steal at the $14.99 price! Happy with my purchase!

This actually looks better in real live than in the picture which is rare. The advertising is actually true. This "dress" is unique, attention getting, sun protection, light weight, and very flattering. I no longer have the thin figure the model shows but this coverup looks good on a real person's figure as well as a model's. I bought this in the Navy Cap Sleeve color in one size larger than my normal size as I like the material to be "floaty" in my coverup. The blue trim at the bottom and the white embroidery/stitching at the top, bottom and sleeves gives the coverup a very elegant and refined look. The only thing that would be better is if it was machine washable on delicate in a net bag. I really love this dress in this color.

It's OK, but it does have a design flaw in the stitching and it's not centered correctly on the dress. For someone that is slightly OCD, it's bothersome for sure. I'm not sure if it's worth sending back, but wanted to let you know about it. It's pretty flimsy material and you can definitely see through it, so if you're looking for a beach cover up, it would be OK, but probably not as a regular dress.
