Solid feel and smooth nib
If you like a heavy, solid pen then this is a great choice. Some might find it too heavy, but I like the solid feel. It writes well--very smooth with plenty of ink, but not so much that it soaks the paper or smudges. It does not seem to be designed to post the cap. You can put the cap on the end while writing, but the fit is a little loose. I usually like to post the cap, but I don't mind keeping the cap off the pen on this one. The weight and balance without the cap are nice, and the cap is designed to stand on its end while off the pen.

Excellent pen, mediocre package
A smooth writing pen, well built and attractive, that is very comfortable despite its weight. Good price too. The one disappointment is the package. Cheap cardboard and no ink cartridge. Not what I expected from Faber Castell based on my previous experience.

Great Pen, flow is consistent and easy to write with
I've been using it pretty consistently over the last few weeks and it's probably one of the best pens I've used. Ink flow is consistent and has never felt scratchy. Only possible drawback would be the nib isn't flexible so line width is consistent regardless of pressure, but I use it more for writing so not a primary concern for me.

Ist bereits mein zweiter, sehr zufrieden! Sieht hübsch aus und liegt gut in der Hand. Die relativ dicke Mine ist bruchfest und erzeugt ein gut lesbares Schriftbild. Der Preis ist zwar heftig aber im Hinblick auf die Qualität akzeptabel.

Portamine veramente eccezionale. Arrivato con una bella confezione regalo. La misura della mina da 1,4mm è eccellente per scrivere, sottolineare o fare schizzi/grafici. A differenza di altri portamine, su questo modello la mina si estrae ruotando la base della penna e, non, premendola a click tipo portamine 0,5mm. Ho anche il roller e la stilografica e questa completa la collezione. Legno di pero scuro mette in risalto le venature.
