We bought a condo that had wire shelving in it, which I hate. Faced with spending several thousand dollars to redo the closets, I thought I would try these first. Wow! I was not expecting what I got. First, when I opened the packaging. I thought I had wasted my money and they were going to have to go back. I thought surely these things would be flimsy and awful. I was in for a shock. They were easy to hang up and once there was weight on them, they weren’t flimsy. They do not have a lot of movement. There is some movement as they are not fixed. Now, the closets are not a disastrous mess with hangers on top of each other fighting for space on a wire rack. I’ve bought more to add to other closets and because of this, I’ve saved a lot of money. I bought them as a temporary fix and they may be the permanent fix.

This worked out great for me. I needed extra hanging space for my shirts and jackets in my closet. I went from a walk in Master closet to a 2nd bedroom wall closet, so I definitely needed a way to make everything fit. I love that the bar can be set at a couple different levels and that the length is adjustable, but found that none of the height levels really worked for my length of shirts, which is just standard tshirt length.. so I had to manually open the side latches and change how it was connected (it was pretty easy with a pair of pliers and some elbow grease). Once I got it to the right height, this worked great! Fits all my clothes, and doesn’t wiggle around when I move clothes on it! A great addition if you have a lot of extra space below your clothes you want to take advantage of!

It goes together easily but it was easy to long for my shirts so I used a zip tie to make it shorter. I used the smallest width and it does the job. It's a little unstable when you grasp the shirts off of the hangers instead of taking the hangers off but it definitely does the job.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Lightweight. Super easy to put together and hang up. Perfect way to lower the clothes for a toddler and give him some independence with putting away and choosing daily outfits.

I really wanted to build an IKEA closet system for my daughter’s closet. It was going to put me over my budget and redoing her bedroom and was going to take more time and more work. I wanted a larger dresser than the drawers from the IKEA closet system. The main reason I wanted it was because I loved that it had double rods on each side for hanging clothes and it had a wall to separate the clothes from sliding over the dresser. I really wanted to decorate to the top of the dresser. This gadget here is awesome. It has double rods so I have the option to hang extra clothes if I need to, and it stops the clothes from sliding on top of the dresser. For less than $30 this is amazing. Not only am I able to have a dresser in my daughter’s closet, but I can decorate the top of it without the clothes sliding across.
