Good paper in a great format at a fair price.
Nice quality for 25% cotton 300gsm acid free watercolour paper at a reaonable price. Maybe not "fulltime professional artist" quality, but certainly better than my level of skill demands. I love the block format - no buckling when wetted for/by colour washes, no bleed through to lower sheets, perfect drying time to permit desired wet on wet blending, blooming and other artistic effects but also good for controlled wet on dry work and fine detail and has a near perfect drying time which takes the frustration of waiting when I want to control bleeding or blending or want a clean, well controlled trasparent overlay. I love the texture too. I'm only a novice, but this paper definitely helps rather than hinders.

Winsor & Newton watercolour paper.
Very good quality paper from Winsor & Newton. Good for both watercolour and mixed media. It's thick and slightly rough. 300 g/m² thickness. In A4 size.50 Sheets! in "jumbo" pack of this quality paper is a bargain for the price! I'm very pleased indeed.Nice size, quality and there are plenty of them for any artistic experiments with both watercolour and acrylic paint!Hope it helps.

Quality watercolour paper
I always buy Winsor & Newton watercolour paper, I also buy their paints to complement the work I’m doing. Great quality, thickness / weight 300gm2. It is a textured paper it isn’t designed like botanical paper, It’s a cold pressed. This paper is great for making cards for Christmas and birthdays. And painting scenes. If you are trying to do hyper realism flowers then buy botanical. Easy to draw on and rub out. You can do wet in wet easily and lift the colour if needed without it falling to bits.So far I haven’t seen any fading or changes in colour. It’s a super all round product without breaking the bank.

Very textured
Great for the price but I found the texture too heavy for what I wanted. Nice thick paper though.

Great Value - good product
Paper is a very personal choice, but for learning and trials the price of this paper makes it a winner, and I was so impressed with the results with watercolour (wet on wet) that I bought a larger pad.Not used Arches or any really expensive papers, but I use this in preference to Bockingford.
