I works on Apple M1 Mac Ventura
Joyfully, it does work on the apple M1 chips! The buttons aren't as sensitive as I would like, but they're more sensitive than a metal arcade pad.So far so good. I like that it doesn't shift around as much as the cheaper pads while playing. It stays pretty stable.

Mat broke after a few uses
Mat worked well after getting it and setting it up. Easy setup and definitely better than the cheaper mats. My mat began giving me problems and eventually completely stopped working after using it about five times without any damage ever being done to the mat. It was really fun while it lasted and I cant find any other mats like this one but now it completely stopped working and broke on me. Given the expensive price I'm not sure if I would recommend or purchase again for only a few uses.

Great with major flaw; Final decision pending
The media could not be loaded. The pad is very good, sort of reminiscent of the RedOctane Ignition 2.0 I had back in the day.My big complaint, though, is that I've only been using this for 2 or 3 days now, and I've already got an issue. Under the arrows, it felt like there was an extra slight bit of padding in the top piece of the pad, sort of to give the buttons a "raised" feel. Well, on day 3, these things have already shifted away from their buttons. And since it's inside the top piece of the pad that has the actual circuitry, you can't just go shift them back into place. Kind of hard to explain, so I've attached crude drawing of what I'm talking about. Assume the red pieces are little embedded pieces of padding that originally started directly under each arrow. At first I thought it was designed that way, like for extra sensitivity because I've noticed in videos that heavier players today are keen on pressing only the extreme inner edges of arrows. But no, I've felt and watched them move as the days pass, and there's no uniformity to them on any axis. It's problematic because it throws off my bearings. I've already almost rolled my ankle because in the middle of a 500-step song, the bumps made me get misaligned and take a step off the left edge of the pad.If all of this happened within the first week, that cannot bode well for the rest of the pad's life. :/EDIT: The padding I criticized in my review has now become a mountain in the middle of the pad with the far edges protruding into the inner side of each arrow. Bearings are being thrown off even worse now because of it. This pad didn't even last a whole month for me!EDIT2: After months of "dealing with it", other buyers have stated that the manufacturer is aware of these issues, and have new batches available that should improve the design. I'm currently starting a warranty replacement process, so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it lasts more than a few days and can get 5/5 it deserves instead of the 3/5 it got. :)EDIT3: Replacement pad came in today; Kudos to DPM, the turnaround time was insanely fast and it was hassle-free. Played a medium-heavy-ish sessions today and the inserts are holding up so far. So hopefully they will continue to do so in the coming weeks.EDIT4: Pad is back up to a 5-star rating. Whatever caused the issue beforehand has apparently been ironed out. Pad is still responsive and without a mountain of padding in the middle.

Good mac compatible dance pad, but the bottom isn't nonslip material
The foam pads are a bit of a pain in the ass to set up right and get the pad zipped closed, but other than that this is a good pad! It works great on my intel mac running 10.14.6 with no issues, and no input lag in stepmania. My main complaint is that the bottom of the pad is basically the same foam material as the inserts...so it slides a LOT when I play on my tiled floor even though I'm playing easy songs. It's honestly a bit infuriating that a $90 pad is not only NOT nonslip on the bottom, but that this fact is not disclosed anywhere in the product description. If you buy this, you should get something like a non slip exercise mat to go under it if you are playing on a tile or wood floor. You also have to be very careful that you do not pick this pad up and move it while it is plugged in, because the usb connector gets a LOT of static when you do. I'm assuming it wouldn't be enough static to actually kill my thunderbolt dock or computer, but the static shock I felt when I learned this the hard way actually hurt a bit.

Two stars cuz it may have worked for someone else with a PC
Not sure why others have said the customer service is good. I have tried emailing through both their official website and amazon, no answer from either. I have a mac 2017, the dance pad doesn't even register on the computer, so if anyone else was hoping this is their mac dance experience solution, keep dreaming on, haven't found one for myself either. The package says box it arrives in could be defective because they try to inspect it before sending. Mine had been torn and after removing it from the amazon box it was literally an open piece of cardboard with no structural integrity. The box has a tab on the top, there is zero reason an "inspection" should lead to a fully deconstructed, unusable box. Got a replacement from Amazon in case it was a defective first pad, nope, second pad still does work, not with different adaptors, nothing. And the box? Ripped open at the top again, so unnecessary... Returning the pad. Wish I had believed the bad reviews before purchasing and keeping my hopes up.

I use this for stepmania and you can tell the difference between
So my regular stay cool pad broke and wanted a replacement, metal pads are freaking expensive so i opted for this padded one and I actually hella love it, I was 250 lbs when i started using it so it holds up pretty good, its quite slippery tho if you sweat under it rip using it until it dries up
