Zeke and Hamish are Adorable!
Demon on the Down-Low is one of my favorite books in the Mythmatched Universe and is considered Book 6 in the Mythmatched world. There are some very familiar fae faces and other couples from the earlier Supernatural Selection books. Hamish, the drummer from Hunter's Moon, made an earlier appearance in Gareth and Niall's story in Bad Boy's Bard, and finally gets his own story. Hamish is pining after a bandmate who is in thruple relationship with twins so Hamish has been moping around. Finally, at the suggestion of a bandmate, he decides to sign up for Supernatural Selection to find his match even if he doesn't believe in love. He just needs to date to take to Mal and Bryce's weddings in both the human and Fae Realm.Enter Zeke, a demon released from Sheol, who has been at the forefront of all the Supernatural Selection mistakes and mismatched pairings. He is a member of the Sheol work-release program and as a demon, he has to have an AI follow him around and zaps him to keep him in line. He is finally given an ultimatum by his supervisor after several mismatches at Supernatural Selection. Zeke has to find the perfect match for Hamish or he gets taken back to Sheol for good. The only problem is that he has to do it without the usual matchmaking spells since there's a magical freeze to try and determine what has been causing the huge mistakes. As Zeke and Hamish grow closer after all of Hamish's dates end in disasters, both of them learn more about the other and Sheol. Demons don't have much rights and most minions are controlled by their masters like Zeke is. Hamish is furious that his sweet and adorkable demon can't even enjoy a simple falafel without getting zapped so he takes it upon himself to show Zeke everything that he has been missing. If you enjoy revolutions, kangaroo shifters, music, and mayhem, then Demon on the Down-Low is definitely the book for you. Zeke and Hamish are perfect for each other so you'll also get a HEA in this wonderful book.

What's not to love about a demon on a work-release program?
I've been waiting months now for this final book in the series after umm, devouring the first two. Witches owning a matchmaking agency promising via spells the perfect match? Why not, say I. This is a lovely, fun story about a shy, demure, sad and lonely youngish (over a thousand yrs) demon working the fire pits of Sheol who ...well, I suggest you read the book. Read all 3--so much love and blossoming romance. All books are stand-alone but more fun in sequence. I've also read the fae trilogy, so there you go--I recognized everyone. Thanks to the Author for this treat.

Demon versus demon
Zeke is in trouble and only Hamish...and well, new friends can get him out of it. Despite him doing the best he could to resolve the issues when he evidently mixed up couples at the match making company he worked for. There is a lot of adventure and I have to say that there are a lot of characters that were in the book that I had to search my mind as to who they were. They go back to books written at least a year ago. you didn't have to read the books to enjoy this book though. An excellent story about Demons, Fae, Angels, Shifters and many more of the paranormal world. A sweet love story with a little action to spice up the story. I definiltely thinkthis book is worth reading.

Satisfying
I liked Zeke and I liked Hamish and I liked all the other characters - this is in no small way the culminating novel of two trilogies. I appreciated how the story stayed with our pair and yet the plot managed so much more than an impossible romance. I started reading this before realizing I'd missed the third of the Fae Out of Water trilogy (my least favorite of the six books, but important enough to understand why the bard's guy is so busy & instrumental). Paused to read that, then this. IMHO, David's, the first book, is the best one - primarily because David is a complete delight. But all six are good. And the way this one ended leaves me happy.

A busy story ...
... and lots going on, including many folk from previous stories, of which I'd read a couple of the stories.- but it was still hard for me to remember who was who.I liked Zeke the demon and Hamish, the rock drummer kangaroo shifter. The story centres on trying to get Zeke away from the clutches of evil.I adored the short paragraph where speedy demon Zeke rushed in and out of the shower so fast he discovered he'd dodged the water in his haste and had to go back again and shower properly.

Excellent
This was an excellent tie off for the Supernatural Selection series! Zeke is adorable and Hamish is a big bundle of energy. The mythology of the world is further expanded by including demons and angels (and explaining it). It's a good story, and if you've read the previous books, I recommend it. While you could probably enjoy it without reading the others, there are a lot of interactions with previous characters and a lot of other lore that will be missing without that background. So, if you haven't read the others, do so, cause they are totally worth it.

Demon the Down-Low by EJ Russell
Rating: 4 starsI had a hard time getting into this book. I liked Zeke from the start. I liked him in the other books in the series and I was glad that he got his own book. Hamish took me awhile to warm up to. I found his mooning over his bandmate annoying. Once the book got going and he got over his obsession the book got better. I loved seeing all the characters from the previous books in the series. All in all, a really good book. Highly recommend, especially if you liked the others in the series.

Absolutely loved this story!
If you’re into demons and rock stars this is the book for you! Hamish, the drummer, for the band Hunter’s Moon needs a date to attend the wedding of the love of his life. Zeke, a demon (a minion), is frantically trying to fix the problems in a magic matchmaking program. This is a funny, sad, and totally adventurous story which I found adorable! If you really want to get into this world then you should start with Cutie and the Beast (the first series). I love both series and all the characters!

Great book
Have thoroughly enjoyed all of this series and the Fae series beforehand whose characters, along with the couples from the other Supernatural Selection books, play a huge part in this final(?) Book of the series.Adored Zeke, he is an absolute cutie, I am so glad he gets a match. After meeting him in the first Supernatural Selection Series book it is so great to get his story. Also, although Hamish comes off as brash at the beginning, the fact he sees the value of Zeke and the way he treats Zeke completely changes the perception of Hamish as the story unfolds, from grump to adorable.Highly recommend this book.
