This silicone mat fit my mini iron perfect. Needed a smaller pressing iron for my quilting projects and order this when I ordered my iron.

This is a silicone heat shield. Sold separate from the little iron. It has a little thickness. It may not be used with too much heat as it is a smaller size.

..I received the mini iron silicone mat Christmas eve and used it already. I like it as it is large enough for the iron but small enough as to not take up much space of my small workstation. I would recommend this item, good quality for good price

Très bien et pratique

I bought this little pad for my mini iron because I got fed up with the iron having to rest on the ironing pad I use and taking up precious ironing real estate. I has impressed me with how well it works. When I'm pressing patchwork units or preparing applique pieces, I tend to leave the mini-iron continually resting with the sole-plate face down on the silicone pad - because the mini-iron isn't especially stable when resting on it's heel, and because it's just quicker to grab and easier on my wrists over a prolonged period to pick it up from that position. And just so you know how effective it is, one time I accidentally forgot to switch the mini-iron off (like that never happens....) when I was done, but I had been working at night and the iron was left on all night (don't judge me, lol). When I realised the next day and switched the iron off, I was amazed to find that even after all those hours of the iron being left face down on the mat, the mat was undamaged. Can't say quite the same for my table, but again, considering how many hours the iron was on, all that happened was a mild scorch mark on the table that I should be able to sand out. I shudder to think what might have happened had the iron not been on this adorable little mat, but the ironing pad did a brilliant job! You definitely need one :)
