Well packaged, this product feels substantial. Wire it into an existing 110v power supply, like outside floodlights and install the app. Camera resolution is good, flood lights are adjustable and can be very bright. Follow the instructions CAREFULLY and enjoy years of use.. Great value for money.

We have a place in Florida and we go there for 6 months and then we go back home for 6 months. We looked for a camera that we could install so that we could make sure everything was ok in Florida when we were gone. We bought 2 of these and set them up and they work amazingly. They will record if you want, they will take pictures if you have it on motion sensor. We look at the cameras on out phone every day. We can see what the weather is doing as we have one installed on our screened in porch. They withstand the elements of the heat very well. We have had these now for I think almost 2 years. They work Perfectly.We liked them so much, we also got another one for our home when we are back in Florida. Very well priced and would highly recommend these if you are in need of a camera. Also, the app that you put on your phone is easy to install and works great.

Although the product info officially states that the camera only supports 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi, I was able to set up 2 of these cameras easily using my Google Nest Mesh Wi-Fi, which only uses 5Ghz. During the initial setup, when given the warning prompt stating that my WI-FI was not 2.4Ghz, I simply selected "continue anyway" and both cameras are working great, including recording. The HD picture quality is great, and the optional sound recording is a plus. The lag between activity and alarm/recording is minimal, and certainly better than my previous ADT cameras. The only gripe I have is that the activity area can only be adjusted to a square or rectangle, and not completely customized like you can on a Ring camera. As a result of this, I am constantly getting notifications of activity when the camera catches sunlight reflections in my swimming pool.

I have both the black plug in, and the small white battery powered. I love the versatility of the small white one because it is magnetic and can moved easily.

We have just about every Feit Electric smart device in our home and have loved all of them so I was very excited to set this one up. Got it up where I wanted it and the video quality was great! Getting the encrypted video could be iffy at times, but with persistence it eventually came up. Then the battery died. No matter how long I leave it plugged in for, and tried MANY different cords, to no avail. It will NOT charge. Lucky if it stays on for a minute or two. I tried reaching out to their support to see if there was a work around but after several days, never got a response. So I just gave up and returned it.

Love these cameras easy to use excellent picture

So these are wireless cameras that required a plug ( outlet ) nearby. I tried seen if I could make them work with a solar panel, but you would probably have to have a big solar panel to make this work. Wireless in the sense that you don't need a receiver and you can use your wifi to connect to the app and see the video. Also make sure you are buying memory cards , otherwise the camera won't have anywhere to store those clips. I have a few of these around my house because I bought the light and camera in one at Costco. Seem easy to replace it for any other light , you just have to do some hardwiring instead of plugging in the cord. You can see live but can't go back on recordings unless you have a memory card in here preferably higher memory. I currently have 256gb and have them to record on motion, which you also get to set in the app. There is a little bit of a problem when you don't have a 2gz, router. Anything with fast speeds tend to throw it off, but you can connect them. Also be prepared to deal with the glare during the day when you are using the QR code to connect these lights . So pick the right time of day , to avoid dealing with the glare . Otherwise it won't pick up the camera on your app, and like I mention before even more problems if you have a faster modem. I like them for the price and fact that you'd don't have to run wires to a mode., which would typically be hidden somewhere. Which I also have , I believe in having both. Funny because these are easier to get going, assuming you don't have problems connecting the camera to your app. It does beat having to cut through 2x4 in the attic just to runs wires. To need for a box as they run off your Internet connection only . The app doesn't cost you a monthly fee like other cameras, the picture quality is pretty good and you can zoom in and out. The speaker on this particular model is not the best, but on their floodlight model, is ok. Night vision is pretty clear and you can hear noises really well just don't expect the camera to have great sound coming out from them as you speak through because they are a bit weak in sound. I wish they made the way to adjust the camera a bit easier , because as of now you have to use an Allen's wrench to loosen up the flexibility in turning and anglingz and sometimes depending on the location of the camera , you almost have to hold the new position with one hand as you tighten these bolts back up again to get the camera to have the angle and view you like.

Very happy with these cameras and the way we are able to keep an eye on our vacation home when we are not there. Easy to charge.
