Works perfectly up to 9 Amps!
I bought the Tobsun EA50-5V 50W DC-DC converter and built a test fixture to see how it performed. I was pleasantly surprised! With no load the output voltage was 5.08V. With loads from 1 Amp to 9 Amps the output was a solid 4.96 volts. At no time did the module temperature exceed 42 degrees C (about 107 degrees F). The only problem occurred when attempting to draw 10 Amps from the converter. At that point the output voltage dropped to 4.28V. Still, the overall performance was much better than I expected.

Absolute Garbage
This thing barely has 5V when connected with no charge. when pulling 2A the voltage drops to about 3V. This cannot give 10A@5V. paid way too much for what it can do. (or lack there of) This test was made with a adjustable powersupply @ 14.8V for fun i upped the power supply to 23V and the output voltage was 3.4V with 2A.

Working good so far!
I purchased this to use with an open Auto Pro setup with a Raspberry pi 4. It is simultaneously powering the Raspberry pi via gpio, an M2 SATA SSD hat (also powered through gpio via pogo pins), and a Waveshare 8" touch screen via USBC pigtail from the output. I'm still getting everything together and haven't tested in the car yet. So the testing setup is currently using a 12DC 5A power supply (dc barrel type). Everything powers up correctly and works well and I'm not getting any low voltage warning on the Pi. When i first got it, I threw my USB voltage tester in line and I *did* get low voltage warnings (and actual low voltage readings on the tester), which seemed discouraging at first, but without the tester I had no issues at all. I've left it running for hours at a time without incident so I feel confident it will be perfect in the end. I'll update with my findings

Durable and reliable
These are great little DC/DC converters. I have one buried in the dash of my car powering some USB outlets I installed on the dash. Subjected to extreme heat, cold, dust and vibration, it has a very rough life and hasn't failed me. I just bought another to power the router and security camera in my shipping container shop. I am going to buy a third so I can use my 18v tool batteries as a usb power bank.
