Nice quality!
These are very nice quality! The leather is excellent and the zipper seems heavy duty. However, the sizing given on the listing is SO nebulous. The manufacturer did not base the sizes via S, M, L etc. but rather numerical sizing. I ordered a small for my slim 8 year old daughter and they were so tiny. The tag showed them to be a size 6. So, I reordered them as a medium and this time they came with the tag of size 8 and they are perfect. They are a slim fit which is great for my daughter but she is very slim. I would agree with the other review that these do indeed run small in terms of most American children's sizing even though they do have a stretch panel. Other than that, they are very lovely chaps.

M is too narrow for my very skinny 8yo son
These are incredibly small. My son is a very skinny 8 yo (24th percentile in weight) and the size M was too tiny. The calf size is probably good for skinny 6 year olds but the length might be too long for them. Also they didn't come in "size M" it was "size 8". I read another reviewer who bought size M and received size 6, which is strange. I am returning these but need to pay for the return shipping fee. Overall, not a great shopping experience.

Great kids chaps
We like these, nice quality and fit. easy to put on, comfortable to wear according to my daughter. Occassionally the zipper sticks a bit but so far so good. We tried fabric chaps first but we're much happier with this version.

Flawed Zipper design
Zipper should be placed on top not bottom. Too small for my 9yr old, who weighs 50 lbs. Their largest size is too tight.

Largest size too small
After reading reviews I decided to purchase the biggest size for my 9 and 10 year old girls. XL size is way too narrow around calves for both of them. One is as skinny as it gets and it is still extremely snug, won’t be able to wear with pants. Very disappointed. Also, the seller wants $13 for the return, which is wrong, since the return is legitimate, the product is not usable. Beware of this.

These are very nice quality but run very small.

Broke after 2 wears
We got these for my daughter for Easter. She wore them twice and then the zipper pull broke off. They are still usable if we use a pliers to zip them up. Wouldn’t recommend.

Looks awesome
While they were initially a little tight for my 6 year old, they were still wearable and after a few wears, they did loosen a bit and became easier to get on but still snug enough to not slip or move around.
