She's gorgeous right from the box, her hair has texture, her skin is soft as butter. Her weight is perfect for me, even her legs are weighted! The batteries are easy to get to and to put in. Her arms are possible. Her sounds are a little creepy at first but they do sound real. Her breathing and heartbeat are steady and strong however you can hear the mechanics of them. She looks JUST LIKE her pictures on the ad. I LOVE HER. 100% would buy another from this company. She even arrived a week early!

She is adorable! I absolutely love her weight, especially her weighted legs! She is so fun to dress, I find myself changing her outfit often because she looks cute in everything. Her hair is pretty well done as far as rooting goes, but doesn’t take much to mess it up, I prefer her with a hat and at least a headband, and I found that leave in conditioner helped. Only thing I would change about her is get rid of her fake sounds but keep the breathing, her breathing is amazingly real looking! And make it so her head can turn. Her arms are stiff but they are so poseable which is really nice.

Absolutely in LOVE with this little baby. I was so anxious to get her to cope with my own loss. Let me tell you, she’s the ONE if you can’t decide on a doll. Her noises are adorable. I’ve found out that there are 2 different versions of this doll by searching YouTube, and the older model seems to sound more... horrific. The doll I received makes cute life-like noises, and her heartbeat isn’t as loud as everyone says. The way her chest rises and falls is AMAZING. It is very powerful you can see her breathe even with a blanket on. Her hair is so cute and curly, very full and not patchy at all. I love the outfit she came in, but of course I had to change her like 10 times.Her eyelashes are so long and her blushing is lifelike. Everyone thought she was my real baby!

Her battery cover was missing. Her lips toes and fingers are cracked and her breather is too low in her abdomen she whispers the word yuk and makes a yawning noise Her butt won’t fit into the diaper I padded her butt with three infant newborn diapers to make it look real. Adorable doll but not worth the price.She may be better w a lot more stuffing. On her torso and areas the cloth body meets w the silicon.Honestly she looked like someone in shipping wanted to hear or see her breathing feature and put batteries in it then forgot to put the plastic cover back on and her breather was mangled in the process. I cut her cloth and sewed it back to see her metal that connects her arms has a point that goes into her neck and it wasn’t in the neck where it was supposed to be. I felt the end of the metal not in her neck that’s why I made the cut to look what I could do to fix her.

I work with new parents and wanted a "weighted" baby that looked like a newborn. I did a LOT of researching before choosing this doll. I did not get a silicone baby as tho they look very real (!) they also look like a dead baby to me. (I am a nurse and lactation consultant and didnt want to freak out my clients)I was a little nervous on how this baby would look, because of the reviews from other baby's. This baby had the best reviews, so I went with that.I received her a week ago and am very happy with my purchase! She smells like baby powder and pretty much looks just like the picture. I was worried about the hair (per other doll reviews) but did as another suggested to get rid of the shiny glue - and brushed baby powder on her head and then wet the hair and head to get rid of the powder. Turned out great. There is a little button to push by her left clavicle for the breathing/cooing/heartbeat sounds. I wasnt looking for or wanting that, but it does work. Just push to start and push again to turn off. My grand daughter likes it. We play doctor a lot and it is fun for her to hear actual sounds with the stethoscope. (tho you don't need one to hear) The heart beat has a bit of a "ting" to it, the coos are more of a baby breathing loudly, and the breathing is her abdomen going in and out. You can hear the motor with the abdomen movement. So, not real, but fine for a childs interest. I will probably eventually just take the box out of her back - or at least the batteries.The only thing I don't really like is that her arms can't move like the picture shows. Her legs are weighted and very moveable, but her arms are stiff at the joints and so don't lay flat up by her head or down by her side. I wish they were weighted and floppy like the legs.

Beautiful baby doll for a young girl who wants one. I have held this doll and looked it over. It is remarkably realistic. I've seen in previous reviews that people complained that the hair was glued on. It's not glued on. It's clearly rooted now.The only thing I would change is that the doll is weighted incorrectly. It should be weighted at around 9lbs to feel like a real baby. I know she's weighted lightly for little girls, but if you're going to go for realistic, at least make them the same weight most babies would be at 3 months. And concentrate the weight in the bum, that would be most realistic.

Ok I have to say that I thought I was going to have to give no stars and be very negative. I received the first doll and she was not working and was used (I paid for new one). I called customer service and they shipped me a new one.I love her! I could not wait to get home from work and "play" with her! She is everything they say she is. Her heart beat is a little strange but the breathing and cooing are adorable!Thank you so much Bradford Exchange customer service department!!!!I had crocheted a sweater, hat and bootie set and was disappointed when the other came and was damaged. But very much worth the wait.

She is so beautiful. Pleasantly weighted, possible arms. I find she fits best in premie clothes. Newborns are a bit large depending on the company. Her skin is so soft and she has a pleasant smell. She hair is rooted. Doesn't quite look like the photo, but not a biggie with me. So pleased.
