The nostalgia is real. Ecto Cooler is back!!
I took a step back into my childhood last night, and boy, was it amazing!! I remember Ecto Cooler packed in my lunch box during my elementary school days, and it had probably been since 1991 or so since I had had a sip of this magical nectar. It took a few sips for the flavor to really hit, because like most have said, you get a bit of that aluminum can flavor with canned juice drinks. But after about the 3rd sip, my senses reminded me of 25 years ago-- Bugle Boy jeans, Tiny Toons, Reebok Pumps and LA Gear "LA Lights", old Ron Jon surf shirts, and Sodalicious. Really glad that Coca-Cola decided to bring back Surge AND Ecto Cooler, even if it's for a limited time. The nostalgia right now is real. I have 4 cases of this stuff right now, and will probably order plenty more soon. :)

bring back the OG Hi-C cans and ghostbusters
This stuff is good as what i can remember i think. I just wish it was in the big a** single can like back in the day. I love those things. I still remember the pain as a kid dropping one on your foot thing your parents sending you to the basement because you dropped that big ass can on their floor and spilled shit everywhere. Ahh the good old days. This stuff is great though. I had been drinking trying to recreate my own blend but it was just not working. So many failed attempts end in me crying alone in the backyard to a sad montage. I just wish i had some peanut butter combos to go with this good stuff.

Good stuff, but don't overpay. It's just juice people.
Oddly enough I never got to drink this as a kid. My Dad refused to buy any flavors other than orange and fruit punch, but I'd always heard Ecto Cooler was awesome. So I gave it a go and while I can't say if it was as good as it was back in the day, it was quite delicious. It wasn't overly tart and it was quite refreshing on a warm day. However...I definitely wouldn't pay the stupid high prices the nostalgia trolls ask for it.Sadly it seems it was just a product tie-in so we may never see it again, but if it does come back at a reasonable price I'd definitely buy it again.

I was super excited to see these were resurrected and I could ...
I was super excited to see these were resurrected and I could find a case of 12 for less than 8 dollars. When they arrived, I was so excited to try them that I set up my camera to capture me tasting them for the first time in 20 years for all my Facebook friends to see. Right off the bat, I hated it. It tasted nothing like I remember. Of course, I was trying it warm. So I put the case in the very back of my refrigerator where things get the coldest, and left them overnight. I woke up the next day to the ice cold, color changed cans and attempted another taste test. A-ha! So much better! So the lesson here is that the color change of the cans is kind of like an "I'm ready to drink!" indicator. If you want the best taste from these, make sure they are ice cold.

it's good. The can does have the color changing aspects
Got mine today, ordered on Tuesday. Delivery was quicker than expected. As far as taste, it's about what I remembered from over 20 years ago, but I think being in a can alters the taste slightly, and I'm personally not too crazy about that part of the taste. I'll have to check and see if there is any difference between the can version and juice box version if I can ever find that in stores. But otherwise, it's good. The can does have the color changing aspects, takes about 6-7 hours to change the color to green while sitting in the fridge. And a side note, I swore if this new movie would get Ecto Cooler back in stores that I would at least give it a watch. And I still plan to keep that promise.

Less than $10 is a cheap price to pay for the feeling of nostalgia
What glorious memories I have from being a kid playing nintendo and drinking Ecto cooler by the gallons! This is everything I remember right from the very first sip. The can does add a slight hint to it but the nostalgia overpowers it and I can not help be reminded of my childhood. I am so happy this is back in production and only hope that it is a permanent product(they charge enough for it)! I bought one case just to make sure I wasnt dreaming and I will be buying more! I have told all my friends about it and I am sure at least a few will be purchasing some for themselves also.

and I was hoping for some nostalgia This was the best feeling of nostalgia I’ve had for awhile
The Ecto cooler can, was one thing that drew me to it, Slimer’s Slime is what reminds me that the new Ghostbuster’s movie is out and being a huge Ghostbuster’s fan, I couldn’t help but have a piece of pop culture. This was something I remembered from my childhood, and I was hoping for some nostalgia This was the best feeling of nostalgia I’ve had for awhile, the flavors were just how I remembered them, a bit of lemon lime with the fruit punch flavor. I'm actually thinking about buying a couple more cases of Ecto-Cooler, because of the memories I have.

Ecto Cooler... So many memories
After searching literally all over town for this I finally broke down and bought a case from Amazon. My husband grew up with this and was dying to try it. His only gripe was I bought the cans and not the small cardboard juice boxes. According to him it tasted exactly as he remembered it. It brought back all of his childhood memories. Our teenagers liked it even though they didn't appreciate the nostalgia of it. I personally found it a little too sweet and the color of the product made it a little unappetizing but the orange flavor came through. I am convinced that the Ecto Cooler is simply a recolor on the Lava Orange Hi C offers as it tastes identical. While the price was much higher than I would have liked to pay it was worth the memories.
