A birthday treat for myself, always been Parker pen fan.

Nice pen
Lovely pen write smoothly and is a good weight in your hand. It a unique design but not too expensive, I really like it. Just love Parker pens.

Fitted with a dummy refill
This is a lovely looking and heavy feeling pen, but it is just a very posh fibre-tip pen in a luxury box. What isnโt immediately apparent is that it doesnโt write โout of the boxโ and you have to swap the dummy refill for the hidden refill, and there are no instructions explaining this or how to do it. I am a professional writer and it even had me foxed for a few seconds! Another thing to watch out for is the wide variation on price, depending on the seller. This seller is the cheapest I found, but it pays to shop around. Teachers and professionals might find a red or green refill useful, but you canโt seem to find these less popular options.

Writes very inconsistently and not smooth. For this price I expected better of Parker.

My ink cartridge lasted less than a week.
Beautiful to write with, very smooth and comfortable to use. The ink cartridge lasted from Tuesday to Saturday morning. I wrote about ยฝ an A4 page each day. I have ordered a refill and a cheaper pen as well as I can't afford refills that cost more than 5 cartridges. I'm quite disappointed as the pen was the most money I've ever paid for a fountain pen.

feels very smooth
Unlike fountain pens, ballpoint pens and RollerBall pens, this one feels very smooth.

Not a fountain pen, but a beautiful pen nonetheless
The feel and weight of this pen is really nice. Note, this is not a fountain pen. It is a fiber tip pen that looks like a fountain pen. It isn't cheap, and the refills are a little pricey, but it is a beautiful pen and it writes well. In my experience the ink for this pen dries faster than fountain pen inks, so it is a nice pen for lefties.
