I’ve used a bunch of GoPro mounts, mostly plastic ones and a few ball heads, but this was my first time trying a full metal 360° mount. I’ve been using it with a Hero 13 on a small tabletop tripod for product shots and some indoor filming over the past couple of weeks. Right away, the build quality stood out. It’s extremely well made. The aluminum feels solid and durable without being heavy. The design is simple but smart, everything fits together cleanly, and it just works. The 360 degree rotation is smooth once the camera’s mounted and tightened. You do have to lock it down before rotating, or it feels a little stiff, but once it’s set, it holds position really well. I also liked that it has a built-in thread, so you don’t need a separate nut. That makes setup faster and less fiddly. It’s compact enough to toss in a gear pouch without taking up space, and the 1/4" thread worked perfectly with my tripod and monopod. If you’re switching between setups or adjusting angles often, this mount makes that easier. It’s one of those small pieces of gear that just does its job without getting in the way. You might be surprised how much better it feels compared to the usual plastic ones.

I picked this up to mount my GoPro 11 to a standard tripod while recording band concerts, and it worked perfectly. The adapter screws on easily, feels solid and well-built, and gave me the confidence to raise the tripod high without worrying about stability. What I really love is that it lets me control the camera remotely through the GoPro app—no need to touch the camera once it’s mounted. Simple, sturdy, and totally worth the price. Great little accessory that gets the job done right.

Positive side: Nice build quality, sturdy and well crafted. Negative side: As others have mentioned, it can be difficult to turn it 360 degrees as I discovered. First off, the swivel isn't a linear movement, but rather a detent style of catch to hold the camera mount secure against the 1/4-20 tripod mount. Also as others have mentioned, I encountered the same as others when the swivel locked up and no amount of mechanical force would turn the swivel point of this camera mount. If your tripod mount will swivel, get this camera mount, the build quality is top notch. If your tripod doesn't swivel, then you should look elsewhere for this style of mount.

It works well. Had a hiccup and turned the screw around the wrong way. So, for those that get this, keep in mind, this is how that screw goes in a certain way to get it to tighten correctly (going the opposite way won’t work). See photo for example of correct way.

Great adapter to be able to freely-rotate and angle your action cam! It has a "stepped" rotation lock which allows you to rotate where the action cam points after tightening, which is very nice. Very light and made of solid metal. The joint itself also allows you to angle your cam wherever you need. I use this on an Insta360 Invisible Stick and this combination has been absolutely crucial for most of my footage to get close to the action, do faux-drone overhead shots, or even flip up when mounted on my PD Capture plates to give a first-person "Camera of Duty" look.
