ZHIYUN Smooth Q3 [Official] 3-Axis Smartphone Stabilizer for iPhone and Android with Tripod and Integrated Light and Zoom for Vlog, Youtube Videos and TikTok

The Smooth Q3 is a beautiful gimbal in many respects. The ergonomics are quite nice and it folds down neatly. The LED indicator lights to let you know what follow mode you're in are handy, as well as the dedicated buttons for power, mode, etc. I also prefer a clamp like this over the strange magnetic thing DJI have on their more recent versions of the Osmo Mobile. None of that matters, however, if a gimbal can't give you professional looking footage. Unfortunately, in many situations the Smooth Q3 will give you amateur looking footage or simply behave in frustrating ways. Most notably, in Pan Follow mode, if you are turning the gimbal, it will move too suddenly, resulting in jarring panning shots. There is no way to correct this on the gimbal or in the ZY Cami app. While DJI gimbals are not without their flaws, the Osmo Mobile gimbals perform much smoother and predictable panning, both automatic, and when controlled from the joystick. I've no idea why all the YouTube reviewers gave this gimbal a free pass despite the fatal flaw.

Right out the box. Connected to Bluetooth once. During that time , firmware update needed. Nope it won't do that. Turned it off for a a hour. Now won't connect to Bluetooth after reinstall app. Resetting Bluetooth. I've had it 5hrs , so far nothing but trouble. please be aware that the firmware can only be updated via your pc. Edit. I purchased a second Smooth Q3 gimbal in hope the next one had no issues. Sadly not. I tried connecting to 3 different Samsung phones. S8, S10 plus S21 Plus. After many many attempts. Installing and reinstalling app software. Not one one would connect. Android App really needs to be on the same level as Apple. As the android app even misses some features that Apple has.

Perfect for IPhone but my S21 Ultra is doing well

very stable and easy to setup/use. way better than the other ones i had before and better than the previous version. the light function is perfect for selfie! would recommend it

The product looks fine but it's unable to pair with my Iphone 12 Mini. The app is heavy, it doesn't work properly and you have to accept a lot of privacy terms before use it. There are some label in chinese in the app even after you change language. I don't recommend.

Lui ormai un classico nel mondo dei gimbal per smartphone, ideale per chi cerca un equilibrio tra portabilità, funzioni smart e un prezzo accessibile. Rimane una scelta solida per chi entra nel mondo del vlogging senza voler investire cifre esorbitanti in modelli più recenti . C'è una piccola luce LED posta sopra il morsetto che può ruotare di 180° (utile sia per la camera frontale che posteriore) con tre livelli di intensità regolabili. E' compatto a differenza di molti competitor che si piegano a metà, il Q3 utilizza un meccanismo a scorrimento che lo rende molto piatto e facile da infilare nello zaino. Stabilizza a 3 Assi: Gestisce egregiamente i movimenti di pan, tilt e roll, supportando smartphone fino a 280g (occhio a quanto pesa il vostro cell). L'impugnatura è curva e comoda, con un joystick molto reattivo che permette movimenti abbastanza fluidi. Con tre clic sul pulsante trigger passi istantaneamente dalla modalità orizzontale a quella verticale E' quasi interamente in plastica. È leggero (340g), ma al tatto può sembrare meno "premium" rispetto a modelli in alluminio. Si usa anche con l'App ZY Cami: ricca di funzioni ma può risultare a volte macchinosa e richiede spesso aggiornamenti. Bisogna dargli il tempo di avviarsi e settarsi ( calma e pazienza). Io non faccio molto ma sono contenta di averlo acquistato. Le istruzioni sono chiare ma troverete molti tutorial su youtube che aiuteranno. Sicuramente chi fa cose professionali troverà di meglio ma lui è sempre nel mio zaino quando faccio escursioni e gite. Bellissimo!!!
