It has a light but pleasant smell that is a fruity floral but most importantly it kills the smell of cat pee, especially male cat pee. I would recommend this.

I don’t usually write reviews but I love this product so much I thought it constituted one. This product brought me back from the brink of insanity. One of my cats decided to start pooping in new places for seemingly no reason and usually adjacent to the actual litter box. This caused her BFF to also poop in the places she had previously pooped. I could not get her to stop no matter what I did. After exhausting every other option, like doubling my already abundant litter box count, changing litter type, she was still doing it (although the litter box and litter helped a little) and I could still smell it, despite using every strong disinfecting cleaner I have. In a moment of pure fear for the future I started trying to find the most effective cat pee cleaner that prevented marking and also wouldn’t cost me an arm. I found this product. I awaited its arrival anxiously. Lo and behold, it worked. She stopped marking. It removed the scent and the stain. I actually really like the melon scent and I’m quite scent sensitive. My cats don’t like it but it doesn’t harm them so I’m happy. Thank you Nature’s Miracle, and my cat Polly also thanks you, because without you there were days I seriously considered letting her wander back outside again from whence she came.

This item works very well for dog and cat urine as well as other stains on carpet including crud and vomit and food stains. It does smell nice but may be overpowering for those with allergies as the melon smell is quite strong. It does dissipate a bit after time but furniture will smell fruity. If you have allergies I recommend the non scented version. This product is safe for animals although I would recommend keeping them off the sprayed area to allow for odor control. It is a decent price for a product that works. I’ve spent so much money on things that only temporarily cover dog urine but this seems very effective

Backstory: our cat of 11 years has had some health issues which make him poop in random areas of the house from time to time. He also has had issue with vomiting if he eats too much at a time. We have a miniature carpet cleaner for the major stuff but when he just has a little episode or just a few little "surprises" for us, this cleaner is the best. After picking up most of the accident, we just spray this directly on the area and blot it with paper towel. It takes a few rounds of blotting to ensure the bulk is soaked up but afterwards there is only the light after smell of the cleaner,(which honestly isn't great but better that what was there). For those little incidents that your pet might bless you with from time to time, this is a great product to have at the ready.
