I ordered a competitor one of these and its hard. I need one that gives and is soft so also cushions buttock bones. What is this like?

This one is also somewhat firm. They are designed to keep you lifted off your tailbone. I also think items like this, re likes and dislikes, are based on personal preference so it's hard to tell what you or I would think is soft or hard. Personally I am very happy with this product it has helped to reduce my lower back pain.
