Handmade Genuine Real Leather Half Camera Case Bag Cover for Canon Canonet QL17 GIII QL19 GIII Coffee Color

A fine looking leather half case. It looks great on my Canonet Gii 17. It should provide some protection as well.I'm very happy with it! Very nicely made, nice stitching. Plus, it sits flat after installing the thumb screw that holds it on via the tripod socket. And the screw still have a trip socket.And a nice note was in the package. :)

I love using half cases for my cameras (especially rangefinders / rangefinder-style) and so I went looking for one for my Canonet QL17 GIII. This seemed to be the only maker, and I was a little worried by the low price tag (~$45 US), relative lack of reviews, and long official shipping times. I decided it was worth trying though, and I can say that I am totally pleased. First, the item came much faster (ten days) than the shipping and tracking indicated (a month). Second, it is everything I want and nothing more: a simple, nice-feeling leather case with precise fit, clean stitching, secure mounting via included bottom tripod socket bolt. It came with a drawstring cloth bag and a freebie leather wrist strap. I will definitely consider this maker for other vintage camera half-cases in the future.My only tiny criticism, if I had any, would be that the inside surface of the case has a small white sticker marking the model (QL17 III) on it. I tried removing the sticker, but it left a sticky residue that would be impossible to clean off of the felt inside (and which I bet would transfer to the camera), so I just put the sticker back on and left it there. When the case is mounted on the camera you can't see the sticker, and it doesn't negatively impact the function in any way… I just hate stickers. But for a good quality leather half case at a bargain price, I can live with knowing it's in there.... hidden away.
