L'oreal is my favorite
I use this color in between my golden blonde. It seems to create a little bit of highlighting. The price is very good when you order this color. L'Oreal is always been my favorite because they're their conditioner is not like any other

Hair color change
I have been using level 8N and 9N for close to 10 years. I go back and forth, and sometimes mix half/half. My natural color use to be a medium brunette, though now it is full of grey. I really don't even know how it looks because I color it at the first sign of root grow out and grey at the temples...not ready for that! It has looked nice and dimensional for most of these years, but now, maybe because I am more grey, it looks too light and beigey on me. I thought I would try to gradually go a bit darker, and to cut the beige and orange ness, I went with 7 1/2 A. It was a brave move, switching like that and using an ash! Well, it turned out way darker than I would expect from just moving down by 1/2, in my thoughts. I'm not colorist, so I didn't really know what color to use. I now wonder if just the 7 would of worked better. So far it looks kind of flat and blah. I'll give it a couple days to decide. I did leave it on for about 40 on my roots, and 30 on the rest. The shock of color change from the 8N to the 7 1/2 A is pretty dramatic right now...after being med/light blonde for 15 years. The box does say to use the lighter of two shades you are considering, but what is the shade to move down to from 8N? Must be 7 rather than 7 1/2. It did seem to cover the grey for now. But I only just did it. I do find that my temples show the grey not long after coloring. I usually do my roots every 3 weeks.
