I bought this set mainly for meal prepping for my baby and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality. The glass feels thick and sturdy, not thin or fragile like some other containers I’ve tried before. You can tell straight away it’s good quality. I’ve used them for storing purees, mashed veggies and small portions of cooked food and they’ve held up really well in the fridge and microwave. What really stands out is the lid mechanism. The clips feel secure and close tightly without needing loads of force. I’ve had other brands where the lids felt flimsy or didn’t seal properly after a few uses. These snap shut confidently and I haven’t had any leaks so far. They’re also easy to clean, dishwasher safe and don’t seem to hold onto smells. The size is perfect for small meal portions which works really well for baby food prep. Overall, very happy with these. Practical, solid and good value for the quality you’re getting.

Great set of quality little pots with snap seal lids. They are perfect for small portion leftovers or when you have only used half a tin and want to store the other half. They stack beautifully in my cupboard and are easy to fit in my refrigerator. These have saved a lot of wasted food as I will now save small portions which I might otherwise have binned rather than using a larger container which would take up too much room in my fridge. They would also be good for storing spices, beads, hairbands, sequins etc. They are a great price on Amazon too.

Bought these to store baby food. Really good quality at a very good price. Have been using them to freeze food and to defreeze in the microwave and no problems at all. Dishwasher safe. Bare in mind they are very small

I bought this 4-pack of 120ml Amazon Basics glass containers to freeze homemade gravy in single portions, and they’ve been absolutely perfect. The glass feels sturdy and the lids seal really well — no leaks, no cracks and they’ve held up perfectly in the freezer. Each container is just the right size for one small serving and they’re super handy if you like to batch cook and portion out sauces, dips, or baby food. They’re also easy to stack and clean. I’d definitely recommend these and will be buying more for other meal prep needs.

I’ve been looking for jars to start my baby’s weaning journey, and these are exactly what I needed. The size is perfect, they’re made of glass—which I prefer over silicone for safety—the lids close securely without leaking, and they’re easy to clean. I even sterilize them with boiling water, and the thick glass makes it completely safe.

Much smaller than I expected! I thought about sending them back but have found uses for them! The product is good quality and lid fits well so everything about them very good just not big enough for what I needed them for.

Ho acquistato questi contenitori Amazon Basics fidandomi delle recensioni positive degli altri utenti, con l’obiettivo di gestire gli “effetti collaterali” dei miei pasticci in cucina. In particolare, mi servivano per conservare gli albumi che puntualmente avanzano preparando la pasta frolla, oppure i tuorli dopo aver fatto la Pavlova. Alla fine questi piccoli barattoli si sono rivelati così validi che, se potessi, metterei un rullo di tamburi come sottofondo a questa recensione! La prova del nove: ermeticità e pulizia al TOP Nel video allegato potete vedere alcuni “test” fai-da-te che dimostrano la qualità di questi contenitori: 1. Tenuta ermetica a prova di bomba (prima parte del video): ho versato del caffè all’interno, chiuso il coperchio, capovolto e agitato il barattolino. Risultato? Non perde nemmeno una goccia! Questo significa che gli albumi si conserverebbero perfettamente e i tuorli non formerebbero quella fastidiosa "crosticina" in superficie. 2. Guarnizione antimacchia e igienica (seconda parte del video): la guarnizione blu non è porosa. Ho lasciato il contenitore capovolto per 24 ore sia con sugo di pomodoro che con yogurt ai mirtilli, che sono rimasti senza alcuna macchia! Inoltre, la guarnizione si rimuove facilmente aiutandosi ad esempio con uno stuzzicadenti, un dettaglio fondamentale per pulire a fondo la scanalatura ed evitare la formazione di muffe. 3. Resistenza agli shock termici (terza parte del video) e capitolo “certificazioni”: la terza parte mostra i vantaggi del vetro borosilicato di alta qualità. Ho effettuato una prova di shock termico immergendo un contenitore preso dal freezer (con ghiaccio dentro ma senza coperchio) direttamente in acqua calda a 50 °C. Anche qui niente crepe o danni, segno di una qualità eccellente, utile soprattutto per scongelamenti d’emergenza. Oltre alla conservazione di albumi e tuorli, ho già usato questi barattoli anche per il pesto di basilico e per trasportare spuntini a base di yogurt. Finora, nonostante un uso intenso, nessuna “aletta” si è staccata. Nonostante la qualità confermata da mesi, prima di scrivere questa recensione, il mio “critico interiore” ha cercato qualche difetto. Una perplessità comune, come ho letto, riguardava l’assenza di marchi o certificazioni stampati sui coperchi o sui barattoli. Dopo aver verificato, posso rassicurarvi: essendo un prodotto a marchio ufficiale Amazon Basics, Amazon opera come distributore diretto sul mercato europeo ed è obbligata a rispettare le rigide normative comunitarie sui MOCA (Materiali a Contatto con gli Alimenti). L’intero set — coperchi in plastica e guarnizioni inclusi — viene testato e certificato come 100% BPA-Free e sicuro per l'uso alimentare nei laboratori di Amazon, prima della commercializzazione. La piccola immagine di sicurezza sulla scheda tecnica conferma questi standard. Quindi, nessun motivo di preoccupazione: il prodotto è sicuro e controllato. Di conseguenza, l’unica piccola mancanza che confermo resta quella che riguarda le dimensioni: i contenitori sono piuttosto piccoli. La capacità di 120 ml è perfetta per albumi, tuorli, spezie o pesto, ma se cercate un contenitore per una merenda, considerate che ci sta a malapena uno yogurt con qualche mandorla. Prendeteli consapevoli delle dimensioni! Inoltre, se vogliamo, non sono neanche impilabili. Riassunto finale: se cercate barattoli mini ma indistruttibili, ermetici e facili da pulire, questi fanno assolutamente al caso vostro. Consigliati, cinque stelle meritatissime! 14.06. TEST CONGELATORE:Con l'arrivo del caldo e la produzione di kefir ormai alle stelle, oggi ho deciso di fare una scommessa con questi piccoli contenitori. Non senza un po' di paura, li ho usati per congelare i miei preziosi granuli di kefir. La chiusura sembra davvero impeccabile e spero che le guarnizioni e il vetro si dimostrino all'altezza di questo compito così delicato. They are leak proof and good use for small portions! I bought them specifically to store homemade ginger garlic pastes and they are prefect for them! I don’t throw the lid in dishwasher and just hand wash them.

Compré este pack de recipientes para almacenar pequeñas cantidades de comida desde que mi hijo empezó con el BLW y, en general, cumplen bien con lo que prometen. El tamaño de 120 ml es ideal para porciones pequeñas, salsas, purés, snacks o incluso para preparar raciones con antelación. El vidrio es resistente y transmite buena calidad, y al ser transparente resulta muy práctico para ver el contenido de un vistazo. Las tapas encajan bien y cierran correctamente. Hasta ahora no he tenido problemas de fugas, aunque no los usaría para transportar líquidos durante muchas horas o en posición vertical dentro de una bolsa. Para uso doméstico, nevera o despensa, funcionan sin problema. Me gusta que sean fáciles de limpiar y que no cojan olores, algo que sí pasa con recipientes de plástico. Además, al ser de vidrio, dan más tranquilidad para conservar alimentos.
