The removable silicone grip is for use while on the stove, if using in the oven, the grip is oven safe to 400 F Degrees. The Tramontina Professional Pan is oven safe to 500 F Degrees without the silicone grip. We recommend to alway use an oven mitt while handling hot cookware, no matter the type of handle or handle covering..
