The product itself is pretty straightforward. You know what it's for and why you might be interested in getting this. For me, I wanted to throw my second softbox on a light stand, but I only have one light stand. I figured I could make it work with an old tripod I had lying around, so I ordered this to help facilitate the process, plus the price was great compared to other similar items from the name brands. It has performed very well and seems to be sturdy enough. I was worried at first because of the light weight, but the aluminum is solid. It's not as shiny as the product images; it's more of a matte look, which I actually prefer. If you find yourself needing something like this, I would highly recommend this product to you.
