Kyle, Haley, Akimi, and Andrew all have a part to play in these new games, serving as advisors to the other competitors who’ve won the right to move on to the next level in the search for the titanium ticket.As the plot takes some surprising twists, the unfolding story draws the readers into the mystery of the secret construction and then into the excitement of the games themselves. As in earlier books, the main part of the story involves Lemoncello-created games. Here the participants are interacting with life-size games . . . and those games are ones every reader will recognize: Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Battleship, Stratego, Rubik’s Cube, Rush Hour, Don’t Break the Ice, and, oh, so many more. It’s almost as much fun looking for classic board game names as it was looking for middle-grade book titles in the earlier stories. And, as in previous books, there are word puzzles, riddles, and rebus puzzles throughout the story that readers can figure out right along with the characters in the contest.There are some moments of solemnity and seriousness amid the fun and games, mostly surrounding Simon and his particular backstory. The revelations surrounding it and the newest Lemoncello building give readers some unexpected insight into Luigi Lemoncello’s background.The targeted audience here is the middle school reader, but these endearing stories, with their strong emphasis on thinking, with their intransigent messages of compassion, friendship, and kindheartedness, have earned themselves a far larger following. With mega-doses of amazing Lemoncello legerdemain, readers will find much to appreciate here. And there is no doubt that, as soon as readers finish this book, they will already be anxiously awaiting the next installment in this magical series.Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. My son loves these! He reads them in order so this is the last one of the series until the next one is released later this year. He can’t wait.

Mr. Lemoncello's Library Series, Book 5This is a book that is extremely relatable ,When I first read the first book of the series (Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's) I thought of my dad, he was the one who read me books when I was a kid, he would make funny voices, sound effects and pretend to be a character sometimesIt really reminded me of how fun ,wacky, fantabulous reading can be, especially when you've got a great author like Chris Grabenstein …I've just got to say that time flies oh so quickly,It's been a long time since the first book was relased,when my mom got me this book I immediately opened the book, and waited to see what fantabulous fun Kyle,Sierra and Akimi,etc, were up to ; )To my surprise there were new characters,WOOHOO!and hey, I absolutely love characters like Akimi and Soroiya that stick to their friends through thick and thin ,and never give up no matter what,I just love that in every lemoncello book there is a hidden puzzle. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The games that the kids participated in were fun. I am excited to see where the series goes.

5th in the series, this middle school book is as enjoyable as all the others. The crazy Mr. Lemoncello is opening his new mysterious building in a way only he can do - a puzzle-solving race between 4 children who have qualified by answering a series of unusual questions. As with most of these books, there are good kids and at least one bad bully whose shenanigans always expand the drama. It appears this is not the end of the series, as questions remain at the conclusion. And this is good, because readers will want to know more after finishing this fun, entertaining and magical story.

THIS IS A GREAT BOOK GUYS BUY ITThis is the fifth book in the series. It is actully mostly based on new character. Another thing that suprised me was that chilington was not in it. The plot is: There is a contest and the winner gets to TAKE OVER!! Simon and lots of other people try out but only jack (the bully) and his freind and two others go through. Haley daley wants to dicise simon as another person. Everyone hAs to have partner so simon gos with his best freind. After awhile everyone learns hes discuied. A litltle later they win!!!!!!THIS AWESOME BOOK BUY IT! :)- From Harper! (It might say amy peterson thats my mom). 9 year old big fan of mr lemencellos library!

My 8 year old son asked me to buy him the first Mr Lemoncello book about six months ago. He’s since read all of them and we had this one on pre-order. I’ve not read the books myself, but he has thoroughly enjoyed each one. He finishes each one in a few days...he can’t put them down. They have riddles in the back, so we’ve also been able to email the author with answers to the riddles. I love that my son is excited about reading at a young age.

i just finished reading this book and cant wait for you to publish the next one. this has been the greatest book in your series by far. in the next book, could ou add a character named Colden. it doesnt matter if he is important or not but it would be so great if you added gim to your story.I hope everybody else enjoyed mr lemmoncellos library as much as i do and cant wait for the next one!
