Bought this to use at camp. It honestly holds very well for how simple it is. I like that i can just stab it into soil anywhere and pop up my umbrella. I would not trust this in soft soil or sand. Its hard to get into the ground around gravel. Its made pretty sturdy. I would feel better if it had 3 or 4 ground prongs but for the two, I have not had it blow my umbrella over yet.

Very sturdy product. Needed to shade my kids sandbox with my patio table umbrella which is fairly heavy and it held up the umbrella great.

this worked well for my umbrella. you need to make sure that you really stick it in the ground well and that your umbrella is heavy enough to not fly out of it when heavy winds come through. this is pretty hidden once in the ground which i like.

This umbrella stand is sturdy and holds the umbrella securely, but what I love most is how easy it is to move. We can adjust the umbrella's position throughout the day for shade without any hassle. Great design and very practical.

Great product

This is heavier duty than I thought it would be but putting the tightening screw on top of the ground spike prevents you form hammering it into the ground. I'm cutting the legs off - I only wanted the tube.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good price point and simple to use. One word of warning; be careful if you use hammer to drive it into the ground - it will change the unit’s shape and umbrella won’t fit! Lesson learned. Shown with a 7 foot umbrella here.

So far so good….I like that it takes up minimal space verse other bases.
