How do I measure DC Voltage?

Set the knob to the DC Voltage mode, the red probe should be connected to the VΩmA port which is the rightmost hole of the multimeter and the black probe should be in the COM port

How do I measure DC Current?

For 10A current, set the knob to the 10A DC Current setting, the black into the COM and the red into the 10ADC port. For current measurement from 2mA to 200mA, set the knob to the corresponding range, the red probe should be in the rightmost hole.

What is the use of BATT function?

It is for measuring battery quality, not for DC voltage measurement. It allow testing of batteries under load to provide accurate information of remaining battery life than just measuring battery voltage. Use DC voltage function to measure DC voltage
