PLEASE READ: This is hands-down one of, if not the BEST shoulder brace you could buy on the market to date. I bought this brace after scouring the Internet researching which to buy. This happened after a bodybuilding injury that involved a dislocation of my shoulder. This is not just a glorified ice pack. It can be used extremely well while working out just be aware that you will get hot and need to adjust the brace accordingly. While working out, I recommended a moderate amount of air compression and no ice pack, just the brace. The magic of this device truly lies within its air compression ability. You can pump it up to quite high pressures while maintaining comfort. The air pump mechanism separates itself from other products on the market because it allows for a somewhat "perfect" fit and conformity to your shoulder since it doesn't solely rely on straps to brace your shoulder. BONUS: I have suffered from severe bicep/tricep tendinitis as well as a pinched ulnar nerve in my right elbow. With a little ingenuity, I was able to use this brace effectively on my elbows and knees albeit somewhat bulky and a very limited range of motion. Obviously this shoulder brace wasn't designed to ice and compress other joints but the relief I felt on my elbow after workouts speaks for itself in volumes. A few cons: your opposite, non-braced shoulder can become slightly chaffed under your arm while wearing tank tops but that is to be expected. Also it is quite bulky and you truly need to "commit" to putting this on and wearing it for your own good and recovery. It is very possible to walk around and wear it in public but there is no hiding the size of this brace. Ultimately the best brace money can buy. These things used to go for well over $100 and they are ahead of its time in terms of delivering a product that beats all others in function, affordability, and long-lasting reliability. I would highly recommend this brace to anyone looking to heal and fix their shoulder either from a minor to severe injury, or to speed your recovery from a surgery. 5 STARS.

I wound up immobilized with extreme, white-flash-light pain due to the front muscle tying in the shoulder to the bone at the Subscapularis to attachment point. I tried two arm slings - a CVS and Son Joy IV to which, made it worse for my application by holding the arm outwards away from the body. The NatraCure Compression Shoulder kept the shoulder squeezed into place. After the 3rd day, I could use the arm in the device without flash-white light shooting pain - with very limited movement but, computer work was a breeze - no pain when wearing the device. The removable pump was also very easy to remove and install even when worn. I had zero issues with this and was quite impressed with how well it helped me towards healing. I've got a ways to go and PT to follow but, this compression sleeve was (out of 3 types) the only one that worked for me. I slept with it on to prevent re-injury of the shoulder during sleep which kept occurring when not wearing it. I know it is not recommended per literature but, for me, it worked to help get sound sleep without waking up wee am. Whomever designed this product did a very good job for the cost point and - Form, Fit & Function A+ for being effective. While I cannot speak to anyone else's application, this thing is worth gold for me. Took me more than a few tries at fitting the gel pack inside just right to facilitate seating snug in the shoulder area while using incremental adjustments at both, the red and blue straps but, once it was dialed in, it was set it and forget it.

Ice pack fits very well. when it is completely frozen it does not conform as well as I would like but once on it puts cold on the right places. The one size fits all holder was difficult to use the first few times but after I finally set it correctly for my shoulder it is much easier to set and put on. The air pump worked well and as the ice pack conformed I added more air by squeezing the bulb a few times. then as the icepack lost the cooling adding more air pressure helped keep the cold hitting the shoulder. If you have a shoulder joint that needs icing then the NatraCure compress is a very good product to put cold where it is needed. (I have not used the Hot treatment but am assuming it would fit immediately)

I purchased this when I scheduled rotator cuff surgery. I thought I would use it immediately after surgery but ended up using the ice pack alone for as long as my arm was in a sling. That worked great - the ice pack is formed and sized to fit around a shoulder and it stays in place as long as I'm sitting still. Later on - when I was no longer in a sling and had better mobility with my arm - I used the entire system to hold the ice pack on. The pump system works well to press the ice against the shoulder. It's probably more elaborate than necessary and I find that it really isn't necessary to flip the switch between on/off. The air stays in until you hold the release and press it out.

I got this after my shoulder surgery, on the recommendation of a friend who had similar surgery. It's difficult to put on, especially if your shoulder is sore from surgery and has limited mobility. It's like half a set of ice hockey shoulder pads, and seems excessive to hold an ice pack. The band for the arm is too small - so I cannot comfortably run my arm through it. Not a big deal - that's not really necessary to keep it in place. I seem to have difficulty pulling the pack all the way up to my shoulder - it seems that it's made for someone with really broad shoulders. I'm a 5-5 woman and by the time I get the ice pack in the right spot of my shoulder the rest of it is digging into my neck. It's bearable if I'm using it will sitting up or walking around. But, If I try to sleep, it's pretty uncomfortable. I'm not really sure what purpose the pump serves, but it was good therapy for my hand the first few days after surgery. On the bright side, the ice pack is REALLY COLD and STAYS COLD.

This is the best support system for addressing shoulder injury and surgical support that I could find. It is extremely well engineered with a built-in removable gel pack for heating or cooling. In addition, with the built in pressure system, one can ensure good thermal contact of the gel pack with the injured part. Other systems depend on poorly designed straps or ice weight to provide cooling. For cooling, one just puts the gel pack into the freezer for an hour or so prior to attaching it to the fabric support. Then one uses the attached bulb to pump up the bladder in the support to the desired pressure on the injured part. The release valves allows ready deflation. The Velcro strapping works extremely well and I could literally single-handedly put on the support without any external help. Two of the straps are adjusted prior to putting on the support. Then, the third strap is used to firmly hold the gel peak and support tightly around the shoulder. Support removal is equally easy. The system is intrinsically robust and should last a very long time even with extended use. I highly recommend this shoulder-support system. Buy it and you won't be disappointed!

Several problems. IF you're not a large framed person this is going to be TOO big for you. Its not stretchy but rigid. When I wore it to the restroom I knocked several things off the counter. When you inflate it it really grows in size and becomes even more rigid. there is NO massage. The gel pack is great but you have to heat it up on BOTH sides of the pack. One side wont work and it cools down in less than 15 minutes. ITs heavy so you have to put it on very snugly and even then it will slide down your arm. I had to keep adjusting up by putting my fingers in the hole in the middle and pushing it back up. It was a LOT of work and getting it on and off my arm was a pain. Further, its made for the RIGHT shoulder. My issue is the LEFT shoulder so everything was reversed. The compressor was located on the BACK so I had no way to get to it and the lever you turn is very tight and if you try to reach it when using the device on the left shoulder its almost impossible. To get proper heat I had to insert a heating pad inside. That gel pack got either too hot or not hot enough. Every 20 minutes I had to take off the device and re-heat the gel pack. What a pain in the assets!! I purchased a second device from another seller and THAT got a FIVE STAR RATING! (See my other review) NOW THAT's a keeper. This one I am returning!!

I tore my rotator cuff and my physical therapist office had one of these and really helped. I wanted to have one for home, so was thrilled to get one at an affordable price. Can be a little tricky to figure out at first, but works great.

Used the YouTube video to help me get a nice fit. Compression is easy to use, gel pad instructions are for a 1300 microwave but easy enough to figure out for a 800 with online conversions. Seems to hold my shoulder in place so far. Can't comment on how well it helps as this is my first use of the support. My only criticism is that they need to made a slim version for smaller framed women. I have had to overlap the body strap and I feel a bit like a Picasso painting when I'm wearing it, lol.

This brace is absolutely amazing it does everything it says it does. My husband mucked up his shoulder and this brace is the only thing that gives him relief. The Ice pack is works to perfections and stays cold for a very long time (he has not tried heating it yet) and he said the pump feels nice because you can put pressure on the ice pack which makes it feel nicer on the shoulder. When it comes to reviewing items I can be picky; however, this one is definitively a 5 Star in my books :) We were so impressed with this product we went on their website to see if they have a tall back brace as I have Scoliosis and am quite sore after work. We did see one one their website; however, I cannot order it directly from their website and HOPE that they provide this item on Amazon as I will most definitely purchase this product from them. I live in Canada

Large bulky but does much more than the normal supports. Downside is the cold pack only reaches the top part of shoulder and joint
